I hope you're just trying to be funny cause if you're married (or committed to whatever kind of intimate relationship) you shouldn't have a side chic

Are you married? If yes, how long have you been married?

I think that discussion is a private one. Let's not drag it too long on this thread. There are several threads in the family section for that.

Thank you very much.

Forget this second generation thing biko. Enjoy your life during your lifetime and give your kids what you owe them: good education. Let each generation fend for themselves abeg.

Some people are doing very well because of the head start they got from their parents. Education is now the very minimal basic we are expected to give our children.

An average graduate with very good education with an invested fund of about N20 million by his parents will have a good head start over his colleagues.

Dangote had a good head start, same with Otedola.
Bill Gates parents were not poor, but upper middle class.

So being married gives you licence to be unfaithful to your partner? Well done sir.

I won't comment on this subject again. Anyone that wants to be a dog should go ahead.

Please don't insinuate anything, you can create a topic for this in the family section.

Thank you.

But you have not answered my question, that is if you are married and for how long.

With all respect to all members and contributors to this thread, this idiot I'm quoting is a very stupid fellow. I'm not insulting him, but his actions fit the dictionary definition of stupidity. So, it's a compliment to him.

If a Muslim man decides to take an additional lady with a view to marriage, how is that unfaithfulness? Did he make a vow of monogamy or does his religion prohibit polygamy? You stupid boy without manners, it is your father in Ebonyi that is a dog, not us here.

Meanwhile, this stupid criminal defending monogamy from his myopic sense of reasoning thinking he's doing right was recently justifying defrauding the Central Bank by diverting Agric loans to other ventures. It seems commonsense is your mortal enemy.

I suggest you seriously behave yourself here and don't think that because some would overlook your stupidity, others would pamper you. Who the bleep do you think you are? Are you feeding anyone here? I suggest you donate your unsolicited advice to your elders at home.

No need to insult anyone.
Just make your point and move on.
Calling someone who is justified by his religion to marry more than one wife a dog, is an insult and I think you should apologize.

The other time I highlighted the importance of having cash reserves, it is important for individuals, businesses and countries. Companies like Zenith bank have over N500 billion in reserves, Apple has over $120 billion, Warren Buffet has almost $100 billion. While Nigeria with over 200 million people has less than $40 billion. I doubt if the state governments have any reserves at all

Assuming our country has enough cash reserves, workers who have been paying tax for a minimum of 12 months ought to be given at 50% of their monthly salaries as palliatives because of the pandemic.

Airline companies won't pay April salaries to their workers.

I got a rude shock from the Internal Revenue Service about 2 weeks ago, asking why I have not forwarded the March PAYE tax of my workers to them.

FG might not have money to share to the states as from May. Unfortunately it is businesses that the state governments will tax and stress in order to get enough funds to pay civil servants and manage the states.

The current or expected recession is going to affect workers, businesses, business owners, self employed, traders, citizens, governments, tithers, non-thithers, pastors, parishioners, side chicks, sugar daddies, tenants, landlords, celebrities, fans, political, poor, rich, old , young, urban dwellers, rural people, students, the list is endless.

May God help us to put an end to this, so that the economy will start looking up.

It will definitely require a big miracle for Lagos not to be locked down for beyond 2 months which is 8 weeks
excuse sir, how would recession affect politician??

Nigeria is very broke, there will be little or no money to loot by the politicians

Chairman of the governors forum informed his colleagues that there might be no money to share in May 2020.

Prices of crude oil our major source of income is now selling below the cost of production. This will have negative effects on the finances of the country and we never saved nor planned for days like this, just like the way 95% or more of Nigerians operate.

Norway, a country with less than 6 million people have over $1 Trillion in their s
Sovereign Wealth Fund. The country has shares and gets steady dividends from the following companies Coca cola, Microsoft, Apple, Google, Toyota, Shell, Exxon, Nestle , Sovereign Eurobonds and other multinational companies and investments in the world.

Nigeria with a population of 200 million had less than $3 billion and we have also borrowed from the fund

Recession in Nigeria is always a good thing if you know how to manipulate your way through.
It only hurt people playing local league(not an insult but a coded message).
It is time to look for that thing to take out of state. wink

With the right market/demand will always bring supply.
If you can sell, especially for higher profits in times like this, you will always be provided with that thing you need to sell, one way or the other.
Everyone cannot run out of money/supplies at once.

Reduce what you spend on booze, clubbing and girls, that is a starting point.

You start small, grow your 10k to 100k, then grow your 100k to 1 million.

Little drops of water makes the big ocean

Live below your means.

Change your circle of friends, you need friends who will encourage and make you be a better person.

Be forward thinking and have a long term view.

Delay gratification.

If you are not married, get married to a lady with the right attitudes and positive outlook about life.

You are still waiting for money from other people that are financially incapacitated, out of jobs, homeless and hopeless

In a recession, money is a major limiting factor, their a lot of credit sales if care is not taken they will go bad.

I have already written off some debts my customers are owing me, although I will still try my possible best to recover the debts.

The only thing in a recession is that liquid Investors will be able to buy assets at a huge discount because it is going to be a buyers market.

Debts go bad in recessions depending on the type of business a person does.
I am not in the services or logistics business sir,it is commodity for cash or cash for commodity.
So,how does my credit go bad?Only natural disasters or man made ones, not recessions.
Because you can only tell me you make no sales because of recession and lack of liquidity of the populace, which means my commodity should still be with you.
What that means is I can always repossess my commodity and find a more soothing market,if/when the lockdown things are lifted.
There are other advantages to recession, especially in Nigeria. Not just buyer's advantage.
And I do not need to look for money or business from the homeless, since a lot of others are into other things.

Obviously you have a means of income. Person wey no dey earn no go take care of bills. Try as much as you can to reduce the bills and money you spend for other stuff to very necessary ones to enable you save some. Try your hands on other means of earnings to boost your what you earn.

Do not understimate the power of gradual and consistent savings no matter how small.

Okay answer, this question do you actually womanise, club and booze.

Not saying it bad, moderation is the most important thing.

You just need to have a budget for these, which you should not exceed.

It looks like an easy business, that requires little start up capital , time consuming, labour intensive but is profitable.

During a recession expect more people to go into that line of business and this will affect market share and profit margin going forward
