Guys, I killed this snake when we were clearing the overgrown weeds in my compound. What's the name? Is it dangerous?

Please people don't kill this type of snake. Look at it closely they have like circle patches on them. It is a boa, but the call them ball python because all the do is curl up into a ball,. They are very harmless even if you pick it up by hand they will not bite. They eat the rats and other rodents that cause Lassa fever. Do not kill ball pythons please |

That's a Ball Python. You can almost mistaken it for a Viper because of its short muscular body. 1 Like |
