Good evening nairalanders. I don't want to bore you all with long story and lengthy write up. Had to create this moniker just to hide my identity. Please advice as I am in a confused state. I and hubby dated for over a year until we tied the nut two months ago never for once did I miss my period. I'm supposed to see it on the 19th of this month going by 25days circle like the previous one. Till this moment it's yet to show and no sign of it showing as I type. Did the PT (home test) on 21st of this month and it turned out negative. My menstrual circle has never be shorter nor longer than 25/30 respectively. Please doctors and experienced ladies in the house does this signify something is wrong? My major worry and concern is that there's no sign whatsoever. |

Test again after 3 days, maybe it is too soon. Are you on any fertility drugs? Sometimes it messes your circle .I pray it comes out positive. Plenty baby dust to you. Our coro baby. May God use this period of lockdown to visit as many couple looking for a fruit 8 Likes 1 Share |

It could be stress. But I pray it is what you are looking for. hCG is more accurate than urine test. I will advise you do the test in the hospital. |

Give it a week, if it doesn't show, you can test it again...be sure it's not infection |

Zeinymira: Urine test is also of hCG. Just that hCG is detectable (seen) in blood earlier than in urine (5-7days versus 14 days averagely) This makes sense because, in simple terms, blood carries hormones and hCG is a hormone. |
