Only dumbass haters and fools will fight groups of people who decided to secede from Nigeria. Ndigbo and Biafrans will never fight anybody who decides to break away from the ungodly union called Nigeria. Ndigbo and Biafrans will show the people love with support. Ndigbo and Biafrans are not lazy dingbats who waste their lives in silly speculation of crude oil.
I am a big supporter of separation but first that guy asked a good question.

Southern Nigeria? Was it not GEJ that supported the invasion of Libya by the Americans even when other African leaders we're neutral?
Southern Nigeria have never had a maverick and regional leader in the mould of Buhari. I don't know which tribe in the South would enforce that aggression. The Yoruba’s in Obasanjo didn't understand his mission as President, GEJ from Bayelsa slept in office, maybe only an Igbo man can bring that bullish attitude we want from a southern leader, you never know.

if you spend a day without showcasing your inborn hate that your grandma passed to you since 1966 will you die.?
Is it the north that is your councilors?
Is it the north that is your local government chairmen?
Is it the north that represents you in your state house of assembly?
Is it the north that represents you at the federal house of reps.?
Is it the north that represents you as senators?
Is it the north that govern your various states?
Since the returning of democracy in 1999, the south has rule for 14 years while the north have only 7years. Why then are you blaming the north?
Oh oh l forgot, your purpose on Earth is to hate and blame others.
Ojukwu decided to fight Nigeria but also blame Nigeria for not given him food.
Stop the hate,it kills faster than Corona virus.
STAY SAFE.
Am from southeast, blaming the north for our political woes is like a pregnant babe blaming her boyfriend. Nigeria as a whole is not living up to its name as the giant of Africa because of Nigerians. We should should stop the hate speech and join hands and make the revolution coming soon a success. The main goal is to totally eradicate the buying and selling of votes in elections. I strongly believe that our mandate will be real and Nigeria will be great again. Am launching an NGO soon that will be centred on sensitising Nigerians on the need to stop selling their votes. Youth are welcomed to contribute in the realization of a better Nigeria.

Ghadaffi called for Nigeria to split between north and south for religious reasons but after a week he called for a split into several countries after acknowledging that sharp ethnic differences was a problem too.

You are absolutely correct.
I remember watching David Mark
on NTA then calling Ghaddafi "a mad man".
Where is David Mark today?
He has remained
a very useless piece of waste.
He has been in government
for a very long time,
and yet his people are among the most beleaguered and benighted section.
So much waste of human lives
So much destruction of things
that support life.
David Mark may very well now belong
in the mold of worthless and failed politicians from Middle Belt region
who once had a chance
to make things good,
but were too selfish
to see far and wide right into the future.

For a fact, any clear-sighted person
will not find it hard to see
That Southern states could have
easily gone in one direction, call it the
Federation of Southern States of the Niger (FSSN).
It would have been easier to push such
a project constitutionally
in the National Assembly.
All Southern people would have done was to convince at least two or three states front the North Central like Benue, Kogi and Kwara to join the project.
That would have produced
a majority vote in the house.

They had a chance.
Their selfishness clouded their vision.
Look at the filthy country
called Nigeria today.
Look at us.

And yet it is not too late for redemption.
Biafra, Oduduwa, Benin Kingdom,
State of Niger Delta, etc
can all be in a Confederation.
We can call it United Nations of Atlantis.
Yes, we can very much take up the name "Atlantis" since it forms a large part of our territorial waters.
We may even go by "Confederated States of West Africa" or "Freely Associated States of West Africa", "Free States of West Africa".
Alternatively we can form a very strong true federation with the name :

"Republic of Africland"

with

Biafra (Hinterland Igbo states,
Anioma and Igbanke)

Oduduwa (All Yoruba speaking states).

Edo (Old Benin Kingdom with
modifications)

Niger Delta (Bayelsa, and all Ijoid peoples
of Delta State, Edo State and
Rivers State)

Calabaria (Akwa-Cross),

Safaria (Benue-Kogi-Kwara),

East Coast (Ikwerre and all Igboid peoples
of Rivers State)

as the federating regions.
And have rotational presidency
and popular secession enshrined
in our federal constitution.

We can be anything we want to be.
Igbos and Yorubas can very much work
together.
The earlier they forsake petty useless
squabbles and work together,
the faster they will achieve
a common goal of true liberation
from a decaying retrograde relic
of colonial subjugation called "Nigeria".
David mark?... One of the Ibb boys?... How many of those Ibb boys are even responsible... It's only coup and power they seriously love... The man that gave the idea of burying armed robbers alive during their regime....

Have you forgotten that Orkar during his coup said majority of Kano and Sokoto Residents are not Nigerians they are either from Tchad or Niger Republic

Exactly. I think the last part was what angered the Nigerian government. And when the Ameicans came calling, the Nigerian government supported them against the Gaddafi.

Who is now feeling the heat of our stupidity? The arms the Americans infiltrated into Libya has now found it's way into the country. Boko Haram and Herdmen get their weapons from Libyan fighters.

It seems very practical since the North and South have different ideologies. This is partly the reason for the disunity and severe intolerance.

This will not eradicate corruption though because it was not the cause. It just might solve some administrative issues and reduce friction in our legal system. And maybe a speedy road map to development.

Story. We have States in the south. Which means, total control by us. Do we have top qualified and educated people as our governors? Nope.

We have cultists and killers in the Legislative chambers. Cultists in government houses.

Let us leave that thing. When we are ready for change, we will do it at State and local level before talking of separation.

Funke akindele was charged to court for having a party in her house. Look at videos of how northerners disregard this orders. Their refusal to educate their people made them terrorists, sucking the nations resources. The same failure will make them the breeding ground for the virus at the expense of the south.
did you see the learned people of Port Harcourt today?

It will be easier to coordinate people in the south during this pandemic than the North. And the failure of the north to manage it will also affect the south.
if you have brain you will know that the virus doesn't respect boundaries. I believe the south is better than America who now have more than 50thousand deads.Or is it the north that carried the virus from China to Italy? And to France?.
Some of you are very dumb I swear.

British media would then lash out at him and demonize him. They always see Nigeria as their establishment and anybody that calls for the split of the dysfunctional union they take things personal against him. Remember it was the Britain that Pushed Obama into the Libyan conflict. It was also the case during the Biafran war. They did everything possible to make the war an ojukwu issue instead of the historical incompatibility arising from the amalgamation which lead to pogrom. salient submissions made by the ahiara declaration were tossed.

Britain never wanted the world to see they were wrong. After all, who were the Igbos to challenge their colonial policies?

Today, it's clear to the world that Nigeria is a failed state. Fulani's jihadi mission is unraveled. Ojukwu was right and they were wrong. Their diplomatic grip on the rest of the global community is loosening and soon their narrative that Nigeria's break up will lead to sub regional instability will be questioned by all and sundry.

Ghadafi advised that Nigeria should be divided along religious lines. This would have created a Northern and Southern Nigeria. Having 2 presidents.

This would have brought the following advantages to the south.

1) Election of presidential candidates would have been based on education, experience and competence.

2) majority of voters would be educated and exposed people

3) resources spent tackling terrorism and insurgency over the years would have been channelled towards development.

4) less farmers herders clash and bloodshed.

5) easier to manage population of educated and skilled people. Creating more jobs.

Today the north that is the least educated is the most qualified for employment in government agencies.

The north groomed terrorism and sucked our nations resources through the channel.

Coronavirus have come and it also has become a channel to divert funds to the north.

But i wish the problem was just the north using coronavirus to suck our resources. That would have been bearable .

My greatest fear is how the north will serve as an incubator for coronavirus and distribute it all over the country.

That is when the south will regret not making the move.

The problem with southern Nigeria is that nobody wants to form a country with Igbos.
If you are dreaming of a new country that will include Igbos with other tribes, forget it because it will never happen.
Truth is bitter but that's the plain truth.

Why are people so naive?

How many times do you want us to tell you that there is no united south, neither is there a united North.

Gaddafi was a simpleton to imagine that there aren't moslems in South and christians in the North.

Nigeria can only split along ethno-socio-political lines whereby ethnicities with few population can merge with others of similar interests.
