Southern Nigeria? Was it not GEJ that supported the invasion of Libya by the Americans even when other African leaders we're neutral? Southern Nigeria have never had a maverick and regional leader in the mould of Buhari. I don't know which tribe in the South would enforce that aggression. The Yoruba’s in Obasanjo didn't understand his mission as President, GEJ from Bayelsa slept in office, maybe only an Igbo man can bring that bullish attitude we want from a southern leader, you never know. |

Miracle1991:Am from southeast, blaming the north for our political woes is like a pregnant babe blaming her boyfriend. Nigeria as a whole is not living up to its name as the giant of Africa because of Nigerians. We should should stop the hate speech and join hands and make the revolution coming soon a success. The main goal is to totally eradicate the buying and selling of votes in elections. I strongly believe that our mandate will be real and Nigeria will be great again. Am launching an NGO soon that will be centred on sensitising Nigerians on the need to stop selling their votes. Youth are welcomed to contribute in the realization of a better Nigeria. |

Ghadaffi called for Nigeria to split between north and south for religious reasons but after a week he called for a split into several countries after acknowledging that sharp ethnic differences was a problem too. |

Armaggedon:Exactly. I think the last part was what angered the Nigerian government. And when the Ameicans came calling, the Nigerian government supported them against the Gaddafi. Who is now feeling the heat of our stupidity? The arms the Americans infiltrated into Libya has now found it's way into the country. Boko Haram and Herdmen get their weapons from Libyan fighters. |

It seems very practical since the North and South have different ideologies. This is partly the reason for the disunity and severe intolerance. This will not eradicate corruption though because it was not the cause. It just might solve some administrative issues and reduce friction in our legal system. And maybe a speedy road map to development. |

Story. We have States in the south. Which means, total control by us. Do we have top qualified and educated people as our governors? Nope. We have cultists and killers in the Legislative chambers. Cultists in government houses. Let us leave that thing. When we are ready for change, we will do it at State and local level before talking of separation. |

Eastlink:British media would then lash out at him and demonize him. They always see Nigeria as their establishment and anybody that calls for the split of the dysfunctional union they take things personal against him. Remember it was the Britain that Pushed Obama into the Libyan conflict. It was also the case during the Biafran war. They did everything possible to make the war an ojukwu issue instead of the historical incompatibility arising from the amalgamation which lead to pogrom. salient submissions made by the ahiara declaration were tossed. Britain never wanted the world to see they were wrong. After all, who were the Igbos to challenge their colonial policies? Today, it's clear to the world that Nigeria is a failed state. Fulani's jihadi mission is unraveled. Ojukwu was right and they were wrong. Their diplomatic grip on the rest of the global community is loosening and soon their narrative that Nigeria's break up will lead to sub regional instability will be questioned by all and sundry. |

The problem with southern Nigeria is that nobody wants to form a country with Igbos. If you are dreaming of a new country that will include Igbos with other tribes, forget it because it will never happen. Truth is bitter but that's the plain truth. |

Why are people so naive? How many times do you want us to tell you that there is no united south, neither is there a united North. Gaddafi was a simpleton to imagine that there aren't moslems in South and christians in the North. Nigeria can only split along ethno-socio-political lines whereby ethnicities with few population can merge with others of similar interests. |
