A Nigerian man has reportedly set his mother ablaze and locked her inside.

It was reported that the incident happened in Umudagu Miberi, Mbaitori LGA, Owerri, Imo State.

According to the source, The Nigerian man identified as Mr. Johnbosco Ejiogu sets his mum Mrs. Pauline Ejiogu on fire.

It was gathered that Johnbosco set his mother ablaze with reason best known to him. While the mother was trying to escape, he blocked her with knife inside to burn, before he could escape too, he already got burnt as well.SleekGist reports.

Before the woman could be rescued, she already suffered a serious injury and has been taken to hospital.

It was reported that he tried to escape and run away but he was held by the village youth, he was given a serious beaten and got arrested by police.
