Good day Nairalanders,

I have read almost every single thread on conditional cash transfer to beneficiaries in this forum and the heart breaking response from Nairaland.

I work there, yes'' and most at times I will feel like replying comments by quoting individual but how many can I quotes, how do I say it and I won't be tag an APC BMC crew, no one seems to even believe it exist.

I'm an old time user here and I feel there would be no need to open a new moniker to hide any identity. It is disheartening that before now we avoided media, so basically most of you won't know it exists. '' If you are not Informed, you will be deform''.

So I will be given you guys A to Z of the process of conditional cash transfer across the states, with pictures and even video, you are free to ask sensible questions, and you could as well submit your informations like state, local government, Ward, community and I will try to provide the list for your community, who knows, your mum, aunties, uncles, grand parents maybe on the list... So let's go.

I'm not Yoruba, am from kogi state and I can beat my chest that if Osinbajo is allowed to rule this country, the positive changes will be so glaring, taking a cue on how NSIP fare under his leadership, npower and conditional cash transfer '' CCT''

We have an estimated 200 million Nigerians with about 40 million having BVN, that's about 20 percent of the total population, assuming we have 80 million kids and teens who are not old to have accounts numbers and BVN, we will be left with another 80 million, this are mostly rural dwellers with BVN, banks and access to Internet. This are the real poor and vulnerable households.

Let's start the process, you can as well condemn this and bring up possible ideas in selecting the poor household as we are open to reviewing the process.

Acronym......

NSR... National Social Register
CCT... Conditional cash transfer
CTF... Cash transfer facilitator
YESSO... Youth Employment and Social Support Operation
NCTO.... National cash transfer office
CBT... Community base targeting

The process starts by YESSO doing a CBT, CBT is achieved through the community heads, every local government has a ward, every Ward is made of communities, every community has a head, the community heads are contacted by YESSO personnel and a town crier will be employed to call the community for a meeting in their respective meeting points, Sensitization takes place and enumeration is carried out.

The list generated will be given to us at NCTO and we will send personnel to communities to place the list at designated points, the names are read out and everyone go home, civil servants, pensioners, established business owners, politicians will be exempt from capturing, cos along poverty line, they are not among the poorest of the poor.

Then another round of Mobilization, Sensitization and enrollment begins.

We make use of a GPS enabled application call '' NCTO dev live '' to do capturing, we do it in every poor household within the targeted community,
The woman in the house serve as caregivers while the man serves as alternate, we sync directly from the villages or community into the server and id card printing begins, afterward id card will be distributed,

Every local government was categorize into two... Rural and urban, we started with rural communities since 2016 and capturing of urban started in July 2019 and we haven't miss a single month payment to beneficiaries since then and with president Buhari stating it on his covid 19 live broadcast just bring it to the media.

Well to me these method is too expensive.

Best option: use Nepa bill.
Those with low bill and still pilling debt should be considered, forget those with meter, hardly you see the poorest have meters.
Those areas without electricity should be looked into..

Note: nepa knows every house in Nigeria..

Please help me. I already created a thread but the moderators moved to the wilderness..

Urgent Help: I Can Only Afford 23k And I Need A Good Laptop

I need someone to dash me a laptop for that amount. I've been saving and my initial plan was to save in order to get an android phone and collect some PDFs from my coursemates (I'm using a torchlight phone now), but I later decided to save up to 30k for a laptop instead which would be of great help for my assignments and research.

The issue right now is that I'm no longer making any money. From tuesday to yesterday, I only saved 700naira and when I went to deposit, the cashier was just looking at me wondering why I spent several hours for only 700naira. All in my account now is 23k + and I fear that if I don't do this now I might begin to spend from this savings.

Please I'm begging for someone to please help me with a laptop with good processing and graphics spec, hopefully a Core i5, 2GB dedicated, that can run Matlab and other programs smoothly. Especially now that school is on break, I would need it to develop myself..

Ps. I know that there are fairly used laptops that I can get for this amount but I don't think I would be able to use it for school work, which will be the same as getting the android phone, hence defeating the whole purpose..

Thank you

Every Nigerian deserve some palliative but sincerely suggesting that BVN should be use in identifying the poor is like leaving the real poor and vulnerable households to suffer, most of these poor people don't have banks in their local government talk more of having a BVN....

We make payments through MMO, mobile money operators from fortis bank, the make use of app call fortispay pie, the app Scan the beneficiaries id card QR code and it pop up all information you need about the household, the beneficiaries choose as password like any animal they rear, like cow, goat, turkey, fowl etc and it automatically becomes their password, when we give out cash, the app capture every single beneficiaries taken cash, below is pictures attach a

Both should be covered as well. Number of citizens who hv less than 50k in Nigeria and hv done their BVN is not up to sum to gulp 400billion naira while those in the rural area is not up to the level to sunk the nation 200billion just dat we hv a govt with poor insight. Take a look at Canada, indigene and non-indigene where bn paid and you're telling me that govt cannot approve the sum of 2trillion naira to cushion the effect of coronavirus? You even said that if one has a BVN he is not among the poor. So having an account and a bvn is now our undoing? someone who has not been going to work for over a month, how do l survive? it's well, the worst na die, they no dey die twice. only once and after that, judgment.......

OP, if only 40m Nigerians have BVN, what stop government from pulling data from INEC and National ID? Why arbitrary list of people we cannot verify? How do you know if Mr A collects twice, thrice. Where is accountability?
Well if only 40m have BVN use that. It means the rest do not pay taxes. Once we start using BVN for benefit transfer, the rest over 18 years will be motivated to have one. Simple!
What I know is that BVN will expose the population frauds in Nigeria. Other countries use PIN/SIN etc. Every bitth that is registered must hsve an identification number that follows him/her for life.
Well OP Defend as much as you will. This will be the beginning of the next probe and all those involved will vomit everything including assets they acquired worldwide. Except the world ends before APC is booted out of office. Just go and get ready for jail..

Op I am not among those asking how it was selected because I have listened severally to the managers talk about it.

However, it's a poor process which could be pardoned in the first year of two of this administration, and not after six years.

What has actually prevented the government from having a scientific database of these beneficiaries? A data base open to all Nigerians to scrutinize.

I'm from Imo and from a family of politically exposed persons and not once have they seen or know anyone benefitting from this. So please tell me who you are paying to or are there no poor in Imo?

Even the pictures you posted are from northern backgrounds so let them enjoy our collective sweat alone, no P.

Sincere question. Not too sound tribalistic too. Why is it majorly people up the map that are enjoying this? Also with the situation on ground, even the middle class can be categorized as poor now so the thing should not be one sided. I have not heard of this stuff in and neither in rivers or delta.

One of the managers was confronted on TV to share the identity of these beneficiaries, the lady in question claimed it was against the law setting up the scheme to publish names of beneficiaries for public consumption.

But these same, just like op would share videos and pictures of the payment online, exposing the faces of the few beneficiaries they are paying

Each state or Local Government in Nigeria has its poverty line.

A poor man in Victoria Island may relocate to Dapchi Local Government and become the best of town. so using a common national poverty index may be wrong.

There is also a difference between individual and household poverty. Giving 20k to a bread winner with 24 dependent relative is not same with that with just 4 dependants.

if you know how porous the border up North is you would agree that the challenges relating to PMS subsidy is likely with Cash Transfer.
