johnpablo541:And he is trying to prove his Ignorance. Stop regurgitating reverse migration because it also happens up till today. There is nothing like Bini prince or Bini queen. It is simply Ignorance that you are propounding. When you read , read with sense. Benin kingdom named his son Chima and name others Izoduwa, taught this one Igbo and taught others edo language. I don't engage in blind argument. |

johnpablo541:Lol. Just a simple question. Who's the Benin version of Ezechima in Benin history? |

Yujin:"I can trace my maternal ancestry thus: I am the first son of Nwanonaku Rachel Chinwe Ogbenyeanu (Aghadiuno)Azikiwe, who was third daughter of Aghadiuno Ajie, the fifth son of Onowu Agbani, first daughter of Obi Udokwu, the son who descended from five Kings of Onitsha. Five of these rulers of Onitsha were direct lineal descendants of Eze Chima, who led his warrior adventurers when they left Benin to establish the Onitsha city state in about 1748 AD. Osagyefo98:Nnamdi Azikiwe: My Genealogy and Nativity "Thus, in tracing my paternal lineage, I could say that both parents of my father are direct descendants of Eze Chima. As for me, I can trace my paternal ancestry in this wise: I am the first son of Chukwuemeka, who was the third child and first son of Azikiwe, who was the second son of Molokwu, who was the third son of Ozomaocha, who was the second son of Inosi Onira, who was the fourth son of Dei, the second son of Eze Chima, the founder of Onitsha." johnpablo541:The book was groomed with Ignorance that his family and onitsha as a whole has disproved because nothing of such existed. What existed was reverse migration happening even to this day and even been acted on movies. Nobody uses that as a link to sound reasoning. There is no Benin prince or princess. It was just lies been propagated for years that has failed to gain ground and won't even to this day. The Benin fabrications are just play taken too far. |

I am an Anioma son and I am proudly an Igbo...How do I explain to my generations to come that I am not an Igbo while I and my siblings bear these names: Chimamkpam(God knows my needs) Ugonnanya (The pride of his father) Onyemaechi (No one knows tomorrow) Oyenkachukwu (Who is greater than God) Ndubuisi (Life first/ Life is the head of everything) Chijindu (God is the holder and giver of life/God who sustains life) KAINEBI ( Let's live) How do you expect me to explain to them that I am not an Igboman(Anioma son) how?...You are not more Igbo than me; period! |

paul100:And you forgot to add that your urhobo friends whom u peddle malicious fabrications about online voted for okowa whom according to u is regarded as a fake deltan. that makes sense to you right? |
| Re: Anioma And Igbo Trends On Twitter by Yujin(m): 9:42am On Apr 27, 2020 |
johnpablo541:Brilliant! Now this is Nnamdi Azikiwe's version and all the names mentioned are Igbo. They left Benin as either Aboriginal bini or as settlers(whether Igbo or another non-bini people) who went on adventure to Igboland passing through other notable Igbo territory to form Onitsha by the bank of River Niger. Meanwhile, we have other settlements in far flung Igbo territories like Ebonyi and Imo states. Now I ask you again; where's the Benin palace version of a prince named?? who left Bini in the mid 18th century to form Onitsha Ado? Hahahaha... I'm waiting for your answer. |

Yujin:Mr Eugene, no need to try and lecture me on your history. I'm not interested. Let the people you are trying to co-opt speak for themselves. For example, Itshekiri people are decidedly Yoruboid. Yet they have formed a separate identity for themselves. If they want to join Yorubas when this contraption called Nigeria fails is up to them and they will be welcomed with a warm embrace. If they choose to stay away, it's up to them. The link will always be there. But not you. Everything na agidi, stronghead. |

paul100:No one see you as minority unless you erroneously see yourself as being one. Some naive Urhobo guys might tell you that you're not a core deltan but that's just ignorance speaking out because of the bad press against Igbos overtime. Tell me, what qualifies one to be a core deltan? Is it location? Ukwuani land is right in the delta too. Is it language? That will be a foolish question. Intelligent Urhobo guys will never say so and that's why they collectively voted Senator Ifeanyi Okowa. Don't ever feel like a minority... You are a major tribe but respect other tribes as respect is reciprocal. Udo. |

FrLukas:Don't meddle in what you don't know. China claimed Hong Kong and are after Taiwan. I don't see you saying anything despite the fact that these places are Islands. Do you know why? That you refused to go search for your lost brother doesn't mean I should do so. As for Itsekiri people, their history is very clear despite they being Yoruboid. Let me tell you the difference. Prince Ginuwa left Bini to the land and formed Kingdom in parts of Warri. Some Yorubas came from parts of Ondo to settle in the kingdom and overtime influenced the language so much that it became Yoruboid. It was Awolowo who made the initial Olu of Itsekiri to be Olu of Warri when they were in the Western region as against the wishes of both the Ijaws and Urhobos who together share the city hence the fightings that rocked Warri few decades ago. The Itsekiris land is not contiguous with Yorubaland I wonder how they'll claim to be Yorubas. You see I know their history but if you discuss it here on nairaland without involving Igbos, I'll never interfere because it's non of my business. Once again, keep off Igbo matters you know nothing about. |

Yujin:Nnamdi Azikiwe is most recognised Onitsha man in history. He is an authority. So why go ask for another version when Zik of Africa already told us the history. |

| Re: Anioma And Igbo Trends On Twitter by Yujin(m): 11:01am On Apr 27, 2020 |
johnpablo541:You're a poor historian and very bad debating. If Onitsha was formed by the Benin Prince, won't the Bini royal courts have a record for confirmation of that Prince? Mind you Azikiwe never claimed Ezechima was a Prince but you claimed he was a prince. Benin city was the capital of an empire which had different tribes including Igbos residing there as at that time. If you ignore the fact that all the names he listed were all Igbos, I'll write you off too. |

Yujin:You just made that Frlukas of a thing to look stupid. When boundaries are unjustly created resistance will persist. Russia annexed Crimea because they felt being an ethnic Russians was unjustly ceded to Ukraine during the collapse of the USSR. China will not let Hong Kong because they are ethnic Chinese (but founded by the British explorers), same with Taiwan. If the identity crisis started before the war Igbos will not be wasting their time arguing who is igbo and who is not igbo it will be a choice willingly made. Nigeria government carved large portion of igbo land and joined them to other ethnic groups and made them to deny their igboness of which most of them foolishly did and you expect Igbos to fold their arms and watch. That yorubas are not enjoining their kins in Benin Rep, Brazil etc to be part of Yoruba doesn't mean that the Igbos will keep mute. Igbos are not a minority tribe in Nigeria and they have what it takes to fight for what is theirs. |
