Yes the Senator spoke well. Honestly, there may be civil unrest nationwide if the lockdown is extended without the palliative going round. I can assure that once it starts in one area it can escalate all over Nigeria and to control it might be very difficult. Nigerians are ready to stay at home as long as necessary to avoid the spreading of the Covid-19,but staying at home with hunger is another way of dying. This epidemic really showed that we are very far behind administratively. How many councillors have the record of population in in his ward .The system of distributing the palliative is not effective generally. The palliative can only go round if done on Ward basis not selective as it is being done. I can tell you from my discussions with some people that the tension is high. Some people don't eat for a day or two with their families and this is causing serious issues domestically and may result in something unfortunate if not urgently addressed

I don't trust any of them , when the ball is not in your court you criticize the style of play of your opponent . most of these people have not been able to run their communities properly but make the loudest noise.

I like his courage but when you look at a serious world issue like Covid 19 and considering our state of our health care which was messed up by these same bunch, the best measure is instituting a strick lockdown.

Nigeria will not be able to cope with the reverse effect of what might come out of this suggested option. We know we as citizens will not adhere to the social distance directives

Unfortunately the present Government has failed in administering the necessary palliatives expected of them , they play politics with everything. At the end of day , a few people will cashout at the expense of peoples lives .

Good thing is that Covid 19 is no respecter of person.

Make una carry on.
I SALUTE YOUR COURAGE.

Abaribe stands out. His only issue is that he has refused to be part of the rubber stamp, Oyes singers. We need more people with sound minds like him in the senate if this country must make progress.
He was Orji Uzor Kalu first Deputy Governor in 1999. independent mind , Objectivity, Firmness to what he believed was the problem that divorced them.

The same man advising the government to remove a lockdown for a virus that's highly contagious ..A virus that a country with over 200million citizens haven't tested up to 10,000 persons for .

Shocking to see some Nigerians speaking like they don't leave in Nigeria.... I sha know say wetin dem dey call for,go answer them in no distant time ...May God guide and protect us from the carelessness and stupidity of our neighbours.
He wants the lockdown called off so he can go to the village and continue arresting men old enough to be his father because they told him he is wrong for wanting to take a land that belongs to the church for over 40 years at the detriment of our health.

PHIPEX:
Lockdown is good but it should be a short term solution and not till infinity especially when Nigeria is not making it's own effort in finding a vaccine. You can't completely lockdown your citizens without a palliative and keep waiting for whenever the West finds you a vaccine.
What has the govt given to be a condition to ease the lockdown? none so we dont even know what to hope for. Is it till the last person is cured or vaccine is found?.

They are waiting for the West to profer a solution and we copy and paste in Nigeria. If a public safety measure has no human face it becomes wickedness to the poor.
Brother I hope u are seeing the figures, I guess u still want them to lift up lockdown
