This is not drowning but rape and strangled to death, the air trapped in their lungs made them a float for some period, no drowned corpse will come to float on water still looking fresh like they were rather being bloated and first stage of decomposition would have began. The corpses should be exhumed for proper forensic analysis. RIP

I strongly doubt the cause of death. If they truly drowned in the river, there body would be swollen, but look at their bodies. The NPF should reexamine the scene and if possible carry out an autopsy to determine the real cause of death.
Please take a good look at their bodies now, the fact that all 3 drowned together even makes it more suspicious and fishy. I am so sure that if proper investigation is made, they'll detect foul play.

They don't hv to bury them until after police investigations & perhaps autopsy.

Autopsy wasn't done to ascertain the cause of their death...they just hurriedly buried them in a swampy shallow grave without even any type of casket
