It helps prevent competitors from using something close to your name, and cause you to lose clients

Am creating an E-commerce web application of which I was to launch at the suppose end of this lockdown. The problem is that the business and domain name I desperately want to use, is already in existence in another country(taiwan to be specific).
Am at a fix here, I don't know what to do, should I go ahead with the name or what?
Its a little daunting as that is what I have envisioned my business to be.
Is there anyway around it?
Your suggestions and Enlightment is most appreciated.

well I was told, a business that operate online should have a domain Name matching its company's name and if a domain name like its counter-part exist, it could pose some problems, if not now, then in the future, am sure u agree with me.!

Check if the name is not trademark.

You can still claim the name if only you have the money the name still available at premium price of $19,000.

Benefits of trademarking :

You can sue the company for using your name
