I am not commending this in anyway or endorsing the FG as it erred supplying expired rice to citizens.

However...

My own here are those hypocrites that where all over nairaland lying that northerners are chopping fine rice while south gets expired rice as if they saw what northerners were eating. Infact if anything the rice wey una reject for south if they bring am north people will rush am because not everyone has the luxury of choosing unexpired rice in a time of pandemic nd lockdown when they have no other alternative to keep dem alive. Southerners and shakara undecided i am not saying you should eat the bad rice but the rice that's expired by date nd not by phsyical characteristics is edible unless you want to form 1st world country citizens while living in a 3rd world country. Wake up to the reality nd be aware of your surrounding.... na Africa you dey.

Plus most people complaining about the rice are people who can afford to feed themselves because person wey hunger dey wire, if you carry food give am he will not be picky.
