Thats what you get when you have the right coaching chemistry. Those 3 were great working together.
TheGoodJoe:
I tell you. The ease at which they moved the ball fluidly and also had fluid movements. The full backs attacked with pace and intensity.

Such a well coached team.

That combination was fire. I remember Nduka Ugbade saying they taught those boys the science of football and I think I read somewhere that Ndidi said when he was first moved to the midfield and had challenges adapting, he remembered his early lessons of the basics of the game, pass - move - pass. It was a testament of what those guys got.

We got it right then. From the coaching selection, to the screening and camping.

Do you have something different for us? I don't think anything was removed from what has been in the public for some weeks now.

He's even ready to take a pay cut too.
barackodam:
Easy bruh.......

I'm pretty sure he didn't accept the deal NFF gave him.

It's a negotiation. NFF presented their deal, he ought to present his own and they'd find a middle ground. If they can't, then they path ways.

Rohr has agreed to a deal means that they found a middle ground between what he wants and what NFF can give.

It doesn't mean that he accepted what NFF gave him

Why can't we have AFCON concurrently with COPA or EUROS?

are we sharing referees?
are we sharing players?
are we sharing pitches?
are we sharing rights?

Why do we have to shift our tourney because Europe are having theirs at that time?

Which kind thinking be that sef? undecided
CAF will loss a lot of revenue if they allow the tournament to take place around that time...
Again, don't forget the weather factor... It will be raining hard by June in Cameroon...unless they decide to shift the venue to a country with better weather conditions in June (South Africa or north Africa) .

Coaching is 70% man management and 30% football tactics
I disagree...

Tactics win you games and subsequently trophies...
Good management skills mostly helps u keep your team together...

Jose Mourinho didn't have the best man management skills but he was a great tactician!

Not the same combination. Amunike was not part of them. Also, NFF released money for preparation very late. Many months behind schedule

So they did not have comprehensive screening.

In short a different recipe and a different result.

Dts if u av d players to carry out ur tactics since d coach won't come and play d ball himself, in short, without d right players,ur tactics amounts to nothing...I will still go with subzero submission... U need more of man management in a team sport cool

Yes, also great tacticians(Mourinho included) have also have their team fallen apart

Great man managers like Klopp and others only need to motivate their players to perform to the best of their abilities

It's not always about the right players.. Man utd squad still had a lot of good players when David Moyes took over from Ferguson in 2013,but we saw how badly he made them look... Look at Leicester today, can u compare them with the Leicester of Puel days?

Look at Nuno at wolves... Look at what Klopp did with Dortmund..

You can have a team of bang average players at your disposal but with the right tactics, you can achieve big things with them...

Having good man management skills in coaching is a good attribute, but being a good tactician is better...
Tactics win you games!

Klopp is very good at tactics and man management,I can assure u that.

A good example of a coach with a not so good man management skill but great tactics is Brendan Rodgers... See how much he has improved Leicester! ..including our own Ndidi and Iheanacho..

Pep Guardiola himself can't claim to be a good man manager, but we all know that he is one of the greatest tactician the world has ever seen!!

I think I'll go with the joebie submission... 60% tactics and 40% man management skill..m

Man management has its place in keeping the players united and grounded. But it doesn’t necessarily translate to good team chemistry. Then you also have the aspect of player/team motivation. Knowing the right words to tell them to make them play their best. However, when it comes to tactics, it is knowing how to respond to the different playing situations. Tactics is crucial in a team sport as well. Man management to me is very important when you have high profile players.
Looking at our young team critically, I think we need more of motivation and tactics. As some of our players profile increase, more man management will be needed.

Motivation come more into man management than tactics

Among current active managers or among the list of all time past and present coaches ?

If it's the former,he is definitely in the top 5... If it's the later, he'd be in the top 15 at least grin

That wasn't the point you made boss undecided

Here's what you said

"...and the fact that the Olympics, euro and Copa America and going to take place around that time too"

And i asked, how has AFCON holding at any point in time got to do with whenever COPA or EUROS hold?

Will they shift theirs because of us?
Why should we shift ours because of them?
