I have noticed a troubling phenomena. When a non-Igbo man marries an Igbo woman and she dies, she is usually buried in the hometown of her husband but when an Igbo man marries a woman who is not Igbo, and the woman dies, her family usually insist that she be buried in her own place of origin or in a public cemetery outside Igboland. They see Igboland as a black hole not to be in. Is this right?

This appointment is an issue to us because its not like the Judiciary where you appoint highest ranking Judge

This is Federal Character Commission every state need to be equally represented

I understand your point. I'm asking if Mary Odili is representing Rivers State or Imo in the Judiciary. Anyone can be appointed as CJN but when she entered the Judiciary, did she list Imo or Rivers as her state of Origin. Is she occupying Rivers or Imo slot.

Pls correct me accordingly.

Depend whether she is married when she joined the Judiciary but that is irrelevant to this topic

Appointment into FCC is based on state quotas .Appointment into Judiciary Justice is mostly based on ranking and seniority your point is not relevant to the topic

Why can't the right things be done? From my observation in nairaland, many people lack good morals. Those with bad morals eventually find their way into government and continue their messed up attitudes in their pattern of leadership.

In many states daughters are getting federal employment from their home state because husband state will not even consider them. Our Igbo people are the only ones doing otherwise leaving our people with no jobs. Hisses.
