Liverpool got about 75 million or so for winning the champions league ,even their match day and broadcasting revenue is more than that ,that’s the reason I said winning the champions league doesn’t really count

Just take a look at United ,always strong on spending power ,when last did they even smell the champions league

Make I leave am like this for now
Can't spend and won't spend are too different things, if it's about money Liverpool have plenty of it

The SE is gradually becoming an enviable team. This is one of the benefits of employing Rohr. We need him to get more foreign born back home.

Nff's greatest achievement in the past few years is retaining rohr and this move will definently bring continuity to the work done so far.

Imagine the likes ejaria, ejike, eze, ehizibue, dessers and any of torunarigha, akpoguma or uduokhai joining up with the team, it automatically implies that nigeria will boast of the best young and enterprising team in africa.

All kudos should go to rohr for sacrificing his demands and due entitlements with regards to the football haus new contract just to achieve something with a team he has nursed from scratch. The man has so much belief in his boys

It might be from China though. I don't see any of those Italian clubs reported to have interest in him pay that much.

Ajayi and ekong have been playing well ,stop twisting things by talking about balance

Even at afcon Balogun was benched and our defense was balanced with omeruo and ekong

So what are you saying?

It’s not compulsory you must see your preferred oyinbo wall

What wrong have ajayi do ? Because a player have played 5 games then he should start ,omeruo is also there

Na rohr kuku be coach and not me and you ,the man has been using ekong and ajayi and they are okay but you guys must look for something to talk ,you are already using balance as your own excuse grin
ekong and Ajayi has been struggling thats the fact check the match against Ukraine
they really struggled I pray Nigeria get another ball playing defender like balogun ....I prefer balogun to Ajayi any time coz we all know balogun is a ball playing defender and pacy and ekong is a stopper this has made their partnership to really work
the pace of balogun is really needed to compliment ekong tackling ,stopping skills

Balogun pacy? Is it another Balogun or is it that I don't know the meaning of pace? Talk another thing o.

Liverpool can’t spend and won’t spend such amount ,reason why they are looking at Timo Werner who got a cheap buyout clause

Barcelona is the richest club in the world right now but they can’t afford to get Neymar back ,Barca are even struggling to fund Martinez move

Lol I hear

As if balogun haven’t struggle before

We all watched the World Cup and the afcon But you can only remember the game against Ukraine which Ajayi didn’t even do bad ,you forget how our defence wasn’t organized against Croatia ,should I also remind you Madagascar ?

Balogun is pacy grin funniest thing I have heard on this thread today

That’s all I can say for now

How do you know Liverpool can't spend since they have made a lot of profit from Champions league, match day revenue, TV revenue and merchandise from their massive fanbase?

Do you have any receipt?

Just putting the records straight, for sure he's a good player. At the last afcon, I think Omeruo really played well last season and stole the shirt more because he was in good form rather than because Balo was match rusty. I think for the first game, Balo might have been injured or something and we all saw how well Omeruo performed. Secondly it is clear that Rohr prefers younger players as he builds for the future I think Ajayis age might also be working in his favor. Of course Balo has been a very good defender for us.

Rohr prefers trusted players, the only time he prefers younger players is when your age interfers with performance of the old ones

Balogun has been very good for the national team and his playing characteristics is invaluable for the national team

I said it earlier. We have the most balanced team in Africa right now.

If we do not win the AFCON next year, then we must have fielded a weak goal keeper. Like Akpeyi let us down last year.

Bottom line:
The goal keeping department is our weak link right now.

By the way so Ejaria is the big fish Tbaba said we hooked? grin

not just that, we are gradually easing out carpenters(in ChrisKels voice) from the team.

I only hope Joe can provide the needed technical support to the coaching department.
