A soldier will definitely belong to a division, brigade or specialised fighting unit.

You cant claim to be floating. How are orders than dished to you? How is your fighting coordinated if you claim you dont belong to any unit.

I think the reality is that you have been drafted to a unit. Maybe it is periodic troop rotation from the front that is rightly the issue.

Also, I dont think it is right to draft full complement of recruits to the front. They should be made to face battles in batches, integrated with experienced battle hardened soldiers.

The unit they were posted to after training is 7 division which is the host unit in combat, 7 div has Intel, Arty, infantry and other compliments so me sef no understand where the no corps information is coming from ?
