you are seeing it from the side of a football fan but not a gaffer/tactician

Football nowadays is fully tactics based which is the reason it seem more robotic when compared to years past.

A player who is not tactically diciplined are rarely tolerated by present day coaches no matter how good they re.
Do you have a Uefa or even Caf badge as a coach? If you don't, then you are also a fan and everything you have stated are basically that of a fan and not a coach, so don't act like you know the coaching aspect of football more than me

Modric and Isco were Madrid playmakers and with them they won 3 consecutive champions leagues.
Xavi, Iniesta and Messi were Barcelona playmakers and with them they won countless trophies,
These teams doesn't seems to do well anymore because they have relexed the playmaker roles.

Trust me, Liverpool of last 2 seasons till now would have been deadlier if coutinho was still in the team solely as a playmaker.

Which role has Fernandez been playing since he came to Man U and can you compare Man U of Fernandez playing as a playmaker and Man U when Fernandez has not arrived at the beginning of the season? So, playmakers are still very needed in today's football
then why is kloop not willing to take coutinho back even when offered on loan by barca?

For your info i never said teams do not hv play makers any more but they re no longer pronounced as the old school number 10 that existed years back.

Fernandes and de bryne kind of play makers are what is in vogue right now ie AMs that functions as playmakers and as well CMs in a game to keep the middle choked up not like james, countinho and ozil kind of play makers.

Nowadays some are deployed with another CM in a pivot shape in front of a natural defensive midfielder where they re required to tackle, defend, create and score goals as well if the opportunity comes unlike before where number 10s are just allowed to roam around the pitch leaving the CMs and DMs to do the tackling and chasing while they wander about waiting for the ball to be served to them.

Football tactics have changed and more robotic now

all of a sudden why is isco no more important in madrid? Why is ververade more valued now than him and even when he gets a chance he is deployed from the flanks?

Do you know that mang coaches recently sacrifice one flank player just to make way for their AM where as they will just have to do with one natural winger with 2 CMs and a DM? Una no sabi football tactics at all

Iwobi is direct. Doesn't overdo or try to dribble too much like Eze.

Iwobi is good for our style of quick counter-attacking play and he is much more technical than Eze. He can create a chance out of nothing.

And..... Let's see how much of shots Eze will be able to muster when he starts playing for a top flight.

man u don learn their lessons and wont be held ransom in splashing the cash to bring in big name flops.

The management re more after young promising talents who will play for the badge and what the club represents. Likely sancho and grealish may join, also birmingham's youngstar bellingham or saul niguez while pogba is likely to leave same as lingard, rojo n jones. Gradually untd is on the verge of building a young dynamic squad of hungry and purposeful players not big namez

Na una time be dis so enjoy it while it last

What part of "Nike will bankroll the deal" did you not understand??

Nike made it clear to Liverpool long ago that they are willing to bankroll the transfer fee of any big name player the club are ready to sign to commiserate their new kit deal with the club..
It all depends on whether or not Mbappe wants to join...

Nah not Napoli. I don't want Osimhen there sef or he'll rot there.
De Laurentiis will go and put a 200m release clause on his contract and take all his image rights.
Very difficult guy to negotiate with.
All those release clause no really matter most times

Osimhen should go to where he will play

I don’t think Napoli will be good self ,they have milik and Insigne who will always start as far they are fit ,mertens will be leaving on a free transfer and that dude will start in many big teams so you can see what I am trying to say

Let me agree with the Nike part

Mbappé can join if they can convince him thou and pay the money

It will be very hard sha ,you already know

oga daye are gone when fear factor they play a part in a teams superiority. Once a team has decent talents doing it in big and decent leagues i see no reason they have to fear the top class opposition.

Aribo was unknown and playing in the scotish league but held his own against almighty brazil, same as ajayi who plays in the english 2nd tier.

The likes of chukwueze and etebo have held their own against the 2 spanish giants, iwobi, ndidi, iheanacho hv rubbed shoulders with kane and the best the epl can offer, ekong and aina is doing the same in the seria A while collins in the bundesliga hv faced the likes of lewandoski n co.

Its not about fear factor but hv team chemistry and cohesion which but be evidence in games.
Thank you for reminding them about Ajayi

Balogun's time in the team is coming to an end. If any of uduokhai, akpoguma, adarabioyo or iorfa joins he will be forced to retire from int'l footie

Dude will be 34 then ,yes 34 is not bad ,but I haven’t seen any African defender playing at top level at 34

Oga, forget what Brighton did to Balogun, on a good day Ajayi isn't better than Balogun, so stop raising Ajayi so high. If Balogun had gone to a championship club from inception instead of Brighton, I am sure he would have been rated better than Ajayi in the Championship. Not that Balogun even did badly or committed blunders in the games he played for Brighton, it was the coach that just didn't fancied him and what makes you think Ajayi would do well or even get game time in the premiership? Don't forget the premiership is a total ball game entirely from the championship. Balogun that was benched in the premiership, went to one of the worst club in the championship and immediately that same club stopped conceding, that should also tell you that if he had started the season with Wigan and with what he showed thus far at Wigan, Wigan wouldn't have been where they are currently in the championship table. So, personally, I will individually pick Balogun over Ajayi and collectively also pick Balogun over him. Make Ajayi start to they face high profile strickers first in the premiership or other top leagues in Europe like Balogun did at Mainz and the few games he played at Brighton, then I will rate Ajayi well
He did, at least I remember the one against arsenal
