The biggest mistake Igbos will make is desperately beg the North or Southwest for Presidency. Once they do this they will be used and dumped and they won't get the Presidency. The biggest fear in Nigeria now is the fear of imminent disintegration. Nigeria is on the verge of disintegration and 2023 presidency is a bait for the Igbos. Igbos should learn from the unlawful proscription of IPOB which Buhari used to weaken southeast politically. What was the promise made before Igbos agreed to proscribe IPOB? Ohaneze and Igbo politicians were just goaded into proscribing, denying their lawful children and what happened next? Dumped, mocked! Igbos should make their stand clear that they would cease to be part of Nigeria if they can't be given the chance in 2023. You can see how Arewa Youth leader always refers to whatever Kanu says, taking Kanu to represent Igbos. The biggest mistake Igbos will make is crawl to the North or Southwest to deny Kanu or Biafra. Once such mistake is made, no one will take Igbos serious. This is politics. Ohaneze should be guided. Igbo governors should learn how to talk or learn the art of pretense. The biggest door to Igbo presidency is Biafra. If Igbos foolishly shut it by denying Kanu or Biafra, the Presidency is a mirage. Of course, you can't negotiate from the point of weakness but strength. Try it, you will be ditched. Ohaneze and other Igbo political or socio_cultural groups should let Nigerians know that we are at the crossroads. If they deny the Igbos presidency in 2023, we shall mobilise our people and leave Nigeria. They don't need a prophet to know Igbos are ready to go. Mbaka once said that why Biafra has not been achieved is because top Igbos are not at the forefront. Now Nigeria has pushed them, they will come out. It's now very clear that the more Igbos are denied their benefits, the more they align with Biafran agitation, now they believe more in Biafra than in Nigeria. And once Igbos leave Nigeria, who will remain? You will see the Yorubas run and forget their shoes. This is not the time to beg, it's the time for negotiation. |

Those so called Igbos that go about begging for presidency are efulefus and people rejected in Igbo land. If any of them become president, we Igbos would suffer more. They are only after their pockets. Imagine Rochas talking of Igbo presidency and zoning as if he has our interest at heart after rendering Imo State Useless. Someone that wants zoning yet brought his son in law from his same orlu zone to replace him. Greedy set of people. Nigeria only needs to be divided or its constitution amended to stop the marginalization of any section of the country. |

Mmuoojukwu:We have been hearing this since 1632 nigeria still remain one united country..... Only ibos start stroking flames of division whenever they lost out in the scheme of things but whenever a government favours them they keep shut. |

Which of the top politicians would allow another top politician to be president. That's the problem Fulani would want to sponsor Okorocha, Peter Obi is there, all ex governors etc. None will step down and unite. Some will betray their brothers on the promise of business favors |

@Golan007, because igbos refused to support a clueless government abi? Igbos are not so daft. We don't play wicked, inhuman politics. We know who buhari is and you can't change Igbos' will. They not so foolish that they will begin to lie up and down to support buhari as some are doing. We laugh because Igbos are more united now than before. Look at how they organised their home in this Covid time and take care of their people. Nigerians have shown them hate and they've learnt to work with their people. The next action will give Nigeria rude shock. |

Mmuoojukwu:Hush about being organised. One would think we've seen pictures of Edo, Delta, Cross River even Ondo people collapsing in hunger since Coronavirus hit town. There is nothing wrong with being in opposition but if your opposition includes shutting down all avenues into a city as soon as government is formed, creating all manner of propaganda on the life and death of the president, denigrating all other tribes using the late Nnamdi Kanu as your touchstone then all I can say is, let's see if it would give you votes from the same tribes when the time comes. You would learn. |

Use your sense. Nigeria is not on the verge of disintegration. Politicians across board are enjoying the country. The masses are the one suffering. |

Difrent:Remind them to oh"GEJ,Igbos are the pillars of my Govt" where are the noise makers then? Bunch of jokers, instead of building bridges, they allow one small boy to rubbish every tribe, yarning dust up & down in the of elusive Eldorado. |

Ibo Man: Its the Ibos turn to rule, we must get our 8 years (Said in the strongest ibo accent you can think of) Hausa Man: No, No, No, No, we are the majority in this country and it is Hausa's turn we need 12 years in power (Said in a heavy Hausa accent) Yoruba Man: Actually Hausa Man you have ruled Nigeria for 43 years out of the 60 years of independence so it is now time for the Yoruba's to rule for at least 16 year (Said in an intense Yoruba accent) In 2020, this is the kind of tribalistic nonsense we are still talking about meanwhile other Nations are sending people to the moon and contributing to technology, science and medicine. Since 1960, 60 years ago we have been playing these mindless tribalistic games which has taken Nigeria backwards economically. In fact 1960 was much more developed than today 2020. There are more than 500 other tribes in this Limited PLC called Nigeria and a suitable leader must be the best man for the job regardless of gender, tribe, religion or creed. We must also remember that these so called IBOS/HAUSAS/YORUBAS sold out Nigeria to the highest bidder while pretending to "liberate" Nigeria from the British in 1960. Shame on you and these so called major 3 tribes, there should be a special shelf in the hottest part of hell for all of them. |

These people talk as if presidency position is like given galla to motorist along Lagos Ibadan express Road. You refused to build political bridges, you make every other ethnic as Enemies, you show hatred physically to the country and you said you want to be its president.people can't trust you with power even if APC gives you presidency slot that will be the end of that party. You want a presidency but you don't have or want to be politicians? You can't be a president without be a politician. If you have which political party do you have strength, major and popularities for the presidency position in Nigeria? A political party can only present candidates for election but people will work and vote for the candidates to win !!! What is your relationship with Nigeria's people ?are they your friends with your utterances? Do you have a candidate that can win majority votes for any political party presented you for presidency position in Nigeria?
