That "thing" may not Igbo

Some stupid Nairalanders enjoy it when Igbos and Yorubas get into e-fight

You shouldn't be replying to some senseless comments here

To the news, the bank says that it is temporary

Hopefully, those who couldn't get a job after December will be reinstated

If we all have the mindsets of establishing our own businesses, employers will be begging us to work as it happens in the US agribusiness today

I remember we were constantly reminded in school to graduate with a second-class upper division so as to get a good job. Lecturers rarely talked about being self-employed.

I hope things have changed now though

Lying is a favorite past time in Nigeria. The laid off employees are PERMANENTLY GONE! Access Bank is struggling. COVID-19 is a just an acceptable cover up.

I will consider closing my account with them. Why not reduce their salaries until the end of the year? Just less than two months and they took this decision?

The bank is struggling. COVID-19 is just a smokescreen.

One thing many of you don't understand is that pple were not sacked from Access bank because of covid 19 negative effect on the economy rather is as a result of merging of Diamond and access bank. I expected any one in any of those bank to have prepared for that before now. Economy meltdown was just an excuse for retrenchment. As far as the board let go of some rented apartment definately staffs will be layoff.

So, do you know how much struggle you go make b4 it's giving you lot of cash.

Abi e go fall from heaven cheesy
I've been doing this for 5 years.. The first 3 years was hell.. so much struggle, embarrassment by secretaries and security men, trekking from one business location to another.. Finally I'm driving to offices and business addresses to get more clients...

Without the lockdown, you probably would have been fighting for breathe in your room by now due to lack of bed space to treat your covid case.
I'm sure if we had only your type of mentality/thinking in Nigeria, fuel might be sold for #2000 per litre and you will still see nothing wrong with it,
now the lock-down hv been called off, I hope you probably will start fighting for breath in your room due to lack of bed space to treat your covid case. kiss

This is the dumbest statement i have heard in a long time. Your obsession and hatred for Yorubas is what is affecting your mental state. Everything that u see you must relate it to Yoruba
.
That boy is not Igbo he is a foreigner. This is because igbos like to hustle, man or woman, pregnant or not. They like to be financially independent no matter how little.

Brilliant answer, that's what I wanna bring out.

Being an entrepreneur is not easy and all is not rosy..
The truth is, if there is no civil servants, there won't be entrepreneur.

Or those offices you do go, if they lose their jobs, will you get more clients?
No.

This is long overdue for Access bank after merging with Diamond bank. They have too many branches and staff that might not be generating tangible income. This pandemic provides a seemingly viable excuse for them to adjust.
