My frnd was sent a WhatsApp verification code on his line then a number call him and he gave them the verification number..
Wch the person log in his WhatsApp number and hack it.. I was trying to verify the account with his number only for WhatsApp to show me 2steps verification code is needed Which he didn't put on his WhatsApp so am guessing it was the hackers..so with the the 2step verification I can't recover the account any help plz

Using the Google play store, try to update your WhatsApp or better still, delete the WhatsApp and then download a new one. By so doing, you'll recover your account...

Only 2 options - :

- Reach out to whatsapp to recover
- Forget about number

Some people can mumu how can u give person otp u didnt authorised.

The funniest thing is that the scammers are still calling the man asking him to give his Facebook number that Facebook will send message to him he will send it to them..in own very eye..that they will use the Facebook to help get back his WhatsApp account then I told him he should not try it..

Why will your friend send the code, the person should try and re login with his number.

have done that,asking for two step verification..

Once I used that kind of applications and I am got banned by the WhatsApp.
