Lookman has always been a good player.Technically gifted. Even if we are not going to use him now, we should try and secure his switch.you can never tell the guy might just pick form and England we start showing interest in him. We should never forget the case of Ebere eze. |

123jamessmith:Let Lookman get playing time first at Leipzig of any other club then we will call him up.. he already committed to us.. But he can't get called up unless he starts playing..Right now we have enough options in his position... |

Arabiandude:Dominic is possibly the fastest defender in the Championship, he is Athletic strong and quick. However, technicality is not his strong point. He was on the up with his team winning all kinds of accolades. Indeed Rohr was seriously looking at him irrespective of the previous politics. His team has lost form so badly it's shocking from contending for top position they have fallen near to the point of possible flirting with relegation. If your team is failing you loose traction in your personal rating. Indeed this is something that's going to really help the SE now, the presence of YOBO. He will not compromise on quality and will not be bullied or induced into accepting certain players by NFF officials. Until l see them both playing good technical composed football it's difficult to ascertain thier true quality. Nonetheless, as a defender you still need to have some good degree of physicality and athleticism. We saw how Omeruo was bullied by the Cameroon players in the last Afcon. |

Arabiandude:There are quite a few coaches without badges. Getting UEFA badges is not an academic qualification it's an assessment of competencies by practice. It's also considerably subjective. Just like having a driving licence after passing your test does not automatically make you a good driver. Also longevity and experience do not necessarily equate to competence. In my experience there are people without badges here who could possibly coach better than many qualified coaches l have met. |

komekn:Name a well recognized coach that doesn't have a Uefa coaching badge and if you have a Football club, will you employ a coach that doesn't have a badge simply because you feel the coach can do better than most of those with badges? |

charlesemeka85:Agreed football is not a mathematical equation it can be very unpredictable. When Etebo was signed for Stoke in my mind l really thought he would rip the Championship apart and be in the EPL by January. But he struggled to make outstanding impact or even be noticed. That was very surprising to me. Meanwhile Eze statistically speaking is the best player in the Championship. Ejaria is considerably ahead of him as well. But look how good and essential Etebo is to the SE arguably our best Midfielder in recent times. Aribo came from nowhere into the SE essentially from English league one and has been OUTSTANDING. There is good possibility that Eze, Ovie could do the same. I really get excited about EZE he looks like he could play that AM role better than Iwobi. |

komekn:The first emboldened is what I am trying to make Emeka understand. Iwobi is currently playing in the premiership and Eze in championship doesn't mean if Iwobi plays in the championship, he will do better than what Eze is currently doing in the championship. To me it doesn't look like, he will play it better than Iwobi. |

ChrisKels:I would not jump to that very hasty conclusion so quickly. You use the term all round, maybe l am misconstrued in my reading but that means in every department essentially. The only two attributes that Awaziem MAY HAVE BETTER than Adarabioyo and it's not by any means certain is football intelligence and Technicality. However, on the following Adarabioyo will floor him; Speed, Strength, Physicality, Aerial Dominance and Aggression. It's difficult to measure technical ability and football intelligence when you are playing do or die , kick and rush football in the English Championship for Blackburn. How well will Adarabioyo do in Leganese in La Liga. I don't know ❓ On the other hand how well will Awaziem do as a CB playing for Blackburn? ❓ |

Arabiandude:From talking to managers and players they all confess because the Championship is so physical it is harder to play good technical composed football. Which would you rather prefer the best CM and most skilful, technicality adapt player in the Yes well as the best statistically in the Championship. Or a very good players in the EPL which is Iwobi. Could Iwobi have done what Eze has done, l don't know. However, one thing l will say is that Eze can shoot like JJay with both feet, which is something Iwobi struggles with Shooting. |

Arabiandude:I know quite a lot of clubs who have coaches with no badges albeit the older coaches and mainly in the Championship downwards. You know you can be coaching grass roots football and get all your badges. It is not complicated to do. It is very comparable to passing your driving test, l passed my test after one lesson and first attempt. I had friends who had been driving for years on Nigeria and for probably a decade. It took one of them about 8 attempts. The badge is just the most basic requirement or competence certificate. It doesn't make you an accomplished coach. Meanwhile once you pass your badges you will be employed because of WHO YOU KNOW not what you know 100% from personal direct experience. |

komekn:Fast, strong and a good tackler, SE have plenty of them What we need now is a ball playing defender |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by ChrisKels: 5:22pm On May 03, 2020 |
komekn:Dude Awaziem is quite physical and very aggressive, he's got strength really. I wouldn't wanna talk down on Adarabioyo Bkus the ball playing part of his style delights me, but, at present, he isn't as good as Awaziem. I like the two and they are in my fantasy eagles line up come AFCON and Qatar, ceteris paribus |

| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by ChrisKels: 5:45pm On May 03, 2020 |
Arabiandude:Such player does not exist for now, not even prospects, both local and foreign. Not Torunarigha, not Uduokhai and not Ozornwafor |

Subzero047:Exactly. One of the German boys(Udokhai preferably) will give us that or Awaziem moves to CB. Awaziem - Ekong/Omeruo looks good on paper. Ekong is turning into a leader at the back. |

ChrisKels:Is Uduokhai not an exception to this? Dude can play centre back, left back, defensive midfield position. However, he has lost form in recent times. |

| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by ChrisKels: 7:18pm On May 03, 2020 |
Subzero047:I think I was a bit harsh on Ozornwafor, though my inference was informed by the fact that he hasn't proven nothing so far, professionally. But judging by what he showed at the U20 tourney and his meager stint with the Nzogbu boys of ala Aba, I would tag him a prospect |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by ChrisKels: 7:21pm On May 03, 2020 |
Clementoke:Actually Uduokhai is just there, nothing really special, bkus he has no significant strength, but, he is doing his best. And...yea he isnt a ball playing center back |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by ChrisKels: 7:25pm On May 03, 2020 |
edi287:Ball playing isn't one of Uduokhai's strengths. If u want a ball playing center back, call on no other than Tosin Adarabioyo, that is his basic strength |

Arabiandude:Is lenglet that good ? I am a Barca fan but I still see him as an average player , I might be wrong thou |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Arabiandude: 7:50pm On May 03, 2020 |
andrewbaba44:He is very good. The weak link in Barca defence right now is Pique and not lenglet but because he is home grown, he can't be benched for a better CB to be bought to take over his position. It's same thing that's also happening to Busquet...they were both good and wonderful but not anymore. I am also a proud Barca fan |

With our midfield gradually taking shape now is there anyone still craving for the return of Nwakali? ![]() |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Arabiandude: 7:59pm On May 03, 2020 |
AllforJesus7:Bros make una allow Nwakali rest in peace or pieces na. He is playing for huesca and in 10years from now maybe he will make it to the top. That Nwakali family have foundational spiritual problem and the earlier they recognize and act towards such, the better for family. Just imagine, Chidiebere and Nwakali, 2 exceptional midfielders and nothing to write home for the both of them. |
