funny bunch left to me any doctor especially state or federal who does not report to duty during this time would loose his licence and his job. its not just by going to school and getting a degree the profession expected its practised with empathy. without regard for human life how are you expected to save one. so in this case for you to consider going on strike when you are needed the most shows you are not right for that profession |

John360comng:Be there talking, that masj you posted online, I use it and let me tell you, it is manufactured by volunteers for us, hand made. Nigeria needs to wake up. Corona virus is like war and is being treated as one by the western countries. Once the public heard the health workers cry out for lack of ppe. There were volunteers from everywhere, unpaid workers, volunteering to be trained on making the mask and they are not paid shishi. If these Nigerians can spend these their lockdown idle.mode to volunteer for one thing or the other to help the system, it will make alot of difference. But no, it's only complain and complain we sabi. Even workers volunteer their off day to help sef, at least for few hours. At all at all na him bad pass. Govt cannot do everything. And it should be treason for health workers to go on strike during health crisis. Just like soldiers cannot go on strike when a country is in war or under attack. That is not a good way to bargain to achieve lasting solution. Right now, even though the union was agitating for pay increase and some allowances for nurses, it has been pushed under carpet since Corona came, once Corona war is won, they continue from where the fight stopped. |

Looool....this Nigeria is a joke! Loool...why wont they want to gone strike?..No PPE, they are overworked, poor remuneration meanwhile Unilag graduated close to 100 doctors last year October/ November and they havent been issued lisences to practice by the MDCN..(all criteria required by the mdcn has been fulfilled). They haven't started work, so you have skilled professionals wasting away Then people Have started working up and down again...looool! I just dey observe |
