Sorry for the long note. Reminds me of one former wealthy igbo man in kaduna. I worked with his neighbor before. The neighbor told me this man was so rich before until his wife crumbled him. He bought anything she wanted, he spent and spent until he lost his job and she kept eating his savings.
I mean excess spending. After the money finished, she started disrespecting him.

If she cooks she doesn't give him meat and she doesn't allow the children take the food to him. He has to come to the kitchen and pick the food himself. He is a laughing stock and she doesn't care. She is managing one small business like that... Fear women.

Some of you men are heading the same way of some of your fathers and risk being treated like them in your old age.
You cheats, beats and tortures wife, neglects your children, drinks, party with reckless abandon and play all manner of sick games in your prime, and then when sickness and old age comes knocking, you all will start looking for who will take care of you and pamper you . You'll start looking for whom to emotionally manipulate to dance to your every whims. Karma is a bitch
That's when it hits kaboom, as those kids and wives you neglected will give you hell. They weren't stupid to keep quiet when you were the giant but now they have seen it all, the ill-advised and embittered ones won't hesitate to send you back to sheol where you belong. The wound has healed but the scars still remains , no manner of therapy can remove an emotional scar caused by a supposed loved one, religion aside.

Women worships men that loved and cherished them and their kids when the going was good. Do same to your woman and your story won't be like this man.

Some view their parents marriage as what they don't want to see in their marriage, so they strive to be different. And poverty has nothing to do with good character. The best married couple I know are the poorest family I know. It's not by status, it's by what you want to live for.
