Hello friends. I traveled last week to Ibadan and I returned to ogun state last Saturday, but I’m currently settled in a place where I isolated myself. I’m feeling feverish and kinda weak all day. I have a thin film in my throat. I don’t have cough or catarrh but my body aches mildly. I’m feeling a bit hot with runny stomach pls link me up on where to have this test around sagamu-Ijebu ode axis of ogun state. Thank you |

Isolate yourself and call 080 09700 00010. If you have access to a facemask, please visit the closest primary healthcare centre and explain how you feel and take their instructions. |

Bros did you later went for the test and if yes how did it go. I resides in Ogun state too arepo to be precise. I have not travelled out of the state for the past three months. Last week, I started feeling feverish, went to the hospital and got treated of malaria. No coughing, no running of temperature, no sore throat. Just loss of taste and smell...I want to go and do the taste. Called NCDC. and they told me that I should not worry that it’s the effect of the malaria....But I still want to go and do the taste...Kindly hint me the process |

PURITYAUTOZ:They told you it's malaria without examining you or performing any test? In some people with Covid19, loss of taste and smell is the only symptom. I won't blame them because there aren't enough tests. There aren't enough hospitals. There isn't enough equipment. There isn't enough protective equipment. Who will pay for the medicine and ventilator, let alone the power that may be needed? Medical staff may even run if they see you coming, because there is no one to support them should they fall ill. Don't feel too bad. Even China and Western countries weren't able to manage this well. Managing at home, may be the best course of action. |

Nigerians can be so stubborn. If there isn't any justifiable reason, why did u have to do an interstate travel and potentially put yourself at risk when various travel advisories have been issued for sane reasons? Now see where things are now pointing to which may directly affect your health, those of close contacts, and the collective well-being of your community where u reside. I wish you quick recovery anyway, and potentially hope that u aren't Covid 19 positive |

PURITYAUTOZ:A loss of smell most esp isn't a malaria symptom. It Is a covid19 symptom in some carriers. In Cuba you have to identify 3 different popular scents, if you fail the test, then you are put to compulsory covid19 testing and most tests came back positive. GL... Covid19 isn't a death sentence. Act wisely |
