Captainrambo2:You shouldn't take the OP and his useless revisionist thread seriously! Just laugh at his attempt at trying to paint Biafrans as the agressors and war criminals the way history has well documented his devilsh Nigerian troops to be! |

The OP spent all that time for us to simply see he needs some kitten this quarantine period. The best soldiers and most eager to fight for Biafra were those who gave Ojukwu the name Biafra to begin with, those from the so-called South South. Asaba Massacre tells you all you need to know about the Nigger Area, know on google known as the Zoo, and those who sponsored them in 1967 to desperately maintain the oil resources as well as future sales of Hennessy and Nike to the descendants of the Nigger Area. That is why today so many “Nigerians” buy sections at clubs to waste money they should have invested in tangible things...... Would a Biafra or Oduduwa nation promote those things? Of course not.... |

To understand the divergent attitudes of the minorities to the Biafran secession, an examination of oral histories from people who occupied positions of authority during the war as well as from ordinary people is necessary. The Ikun in the present day Cross River State presents a good example of the crimes committed against the minorities. Newsweek, in one of its reports titled “The Resurrection of Biafra,” stated that “some of the worst massacres of the war, in fact, occurred when federal troops captured minority regions -where upon the minority tribesmen turned on the Ibos in bloody fury.”The Forgotten Victims: Ethnic Minorities in the Nigeria-Biafra War, 1967-1970 Arua Oko Omaka McMaster University, omakaao@mcmaster.ca Cc. ificatchmodeh Captainrambo2

According to the eyewitness, Biafran soldiers allegedly took Ikun men to Ohafia for a meeting but never brought them back. The informant also alleged that the soldiers returned to the community and rounded up some men within their reach and shot them. This survivor who lost her four-day old son and her grandmother seemed to have suspected foul play from the Ohafia people who share a common boundary with her community. The Forgotten Victims: Ethnic Minorities in the Nigeria-Biafra War, 1967-1970 Arua Oko Omaka

Banmeallday:Lie lie ![]() Newsweek, in one of its reports titled “The Resurrection of Biafra,” stated that “some of the worst massacres of the war, in fact, occurred when federal troops captured minority regions -where upon the minority tribesmen turned on the Ibos in bloody fury.” This quote presents the Igbo as the victims in the hands of the minority groups, without reference to any experience the minorities might have had in the Igbo-dominated region before the arrival of the federal troops The Forgotten Victims: Ethnic Minorities in the Nigeria-Biafra War, 1967-1970 Arua Oko Omaka

MinorityOpinion:Well well, there you go. An outsider is writing what they observed, a Nigger Army taking over a Biafran Minority area, minority joining to persecute Igbo.....so no Igbo persecution on their cousins noted then....today the Igbo and Minority area impoverished and joining to reclaim Biafra in 2020 LOL |

Banmeallday:What will make the minorities turn on igbos like that? If they weren't wrong by Biafran soldiers in the first place. Paretomaster1:My father Told me there is nothing like Nigeria, nothing like Nigerians. He told me there would be people like you. Liars and deceivers who instead of offering solutions to their own country, have none to give and instead spend their days looking at those who instead have solutions and are promising and see themselves as AFrican Africans and not British or French Africans. My father also told me the zoo will fall and people like you who may not know their fathers courtesy of their mothers, or do know their fathers as accepting slavery will be alive to see Africa rise -beginning with the Restoration of Biafra.... Randy100:Yep he didnt...These people spend so much time chasing shadows instead of facing front regarding Biafra because they are AFRAID of what will become of them or what the world will come to see them as. So far the world already sees them as Niggers and shythole......that is with oil access, contracts, international ports and FG sponsorship and yet they are nothing......imagine when that is taken away.... Anyway the oil will be supplied for free still |

Randy100:Was obasanjo present when the attrocities were happening. Why would he write about what he didn't see. Then suddenly the book of a Yoruba man is now a. Good Reference, what happen to ewedu media? This is from the true victims (the minorities) and you're here saying obansajo. |

MinorityOpinion:And what makes you think your “sources” are not lying? When did one person speak for “Minority”. Oh I see, when Effiong’s son talks about the love Igbo showed his father he is speaking for all Ibibio? When Goodluck talks about his parents giving him two Igbo names in his name they were forced by Igbo...or all Ijaw should do the samE? Or is it Kate Heneshaw who says there is no Biafra in Rivers until of course her people gave Kanu a huge reception weeks after her statement... Wonders shall never end....but atrocities or no atrocities will not give people jobs or build good schools mr man today.....unless you feel the “Minorities” are actually going to vote for Biafraexit....... |

Then you argued and I replied with this after seeing I'm overwhelmed with evidence Wonders shall never end....but atrocities or no atrocities will not give people jobs or build good schools mr man today.....unless you feel the “igbos” are actually going to vote for Buhari....... |

MinorityOpinion:Obasanjo was a commander and was leading the war in favour of Nigerian nation. He would have been happy to point those things out if they really happened. I made reference to Obasanjo book because, I know that it is very difficult for an average Yoruba man to say something good about an Igbo man. I have read the part of Philip Effiong story about the civil war titled " NIGERIA AND BIAFRA: MY STORY." He never said anything about this gibberish you wrote above. Philip Effiong was also from a minority group leading from the Biafran side. If his people were brutalized as you were saying, he would have mentioned it in his book. Finally, the Biafran soldiers killed Nigerian soldiers with Ogbunigwe which is a locally manufactured bomb. It is in record and most people affirm to that. |
