Nigeria’s former Aviation Minister Femi Fani-Kayode has faulted the country for allegedly masterminding the death of hundreds of thousands of Biafrans during the civil war – and yet without an apology or any payment for the damage caused, [color=#000000]CH Reports[/color]


Fani-Kayode, who’s a lawyer and of Yoruba descent, said this Wednesday on Twitter, noting that the “mass murder and ethnic cleansing” – which he also blamed former Head of State, General Yakubu Gowon (retd) for – is “unacceptable."

He tweeted: “Gowon & Nigeria starved 3 million Biafrans to death during the civil war whilst Churchill & the UK starved 3 million Bengali Indians to death during WW 11.Neither nation apologised or paid reparations for these acts of genocide,mass murder &ethnic cleansing.This is UNACCEPTABLE.”

The lawyer also wrote in another post: “Behold the way of our colonial masters, feeding the slaves as if they were animals. This is what our European colonial masters did to all the natives. They treated us like animals & dehumanised & degraded us. Yet if the truth be told, when it comes to Africa, little has changed.”
