Happy Easter everyone!
I hope this post doesn't get chopped off like others.

Quick one about the hustle for a partner.

They're lots of categories we encounter. Some of which are really lugubrious.

A: Naija babe studying here but only interested in someone with papers.

B: Naija babe with papers (from UK/EU/US) but isn't convinced you love her, but you're after her paper. She plays hard to get till hell freezes.

C: Oyinbo babe not interested in something serious, only flings. Flee!!!

D: Oyinbo babe interested but pulls out cos its feasible you need her for papers.

E: Oyinbo that is loyal, wants everything for you, paper or not, she's game (very very hard to find)

F: Oyinbo babe ready for anything, so long as she gets paid!

G: Oyinbo babe, single mama, would love up instantly if she smells your money from afar.

H: Oyinbo babe that's very nice, but turns out she's gay or trans. Run!!!!!

I: The list continues.

Summary, our mindset needs to change, most especially single ones. We need to reason in the right perspective as we grow.

This piece summaries lots of unwritten things. A pity the author didn't complete the list. The take home here is that u all have to learn to make ur own way and not depend on a 2nd or 3rd party to make it for u. People tend to disappoint

It depends on the means you want to use, I'll suggest you follow this thread https://www.nairaland.com/5621308/part-8 to get yourself familiarize with the process.

In absolute term, 4.3m should suffice.

As for letter (E) , it happens naturally without people searching. This happens most times regardless of wherever we are. Study hard, dress well, look good, learn the language, whoever will fall for you will fall for you.

Exactly, we just need to be ourselves and not act desperately, whatever will be will be.

Hello, seems we're heading in the same direction. I've also been admitted into a Uni in Freising, Munich. From what my classmates have been discussing (plus what I've seen online), the houses are not too pricey in Freising but they're scarce. Did you register with "Studentenwerk" in Munich? They've been sending rental contracts since last month (I've personally gotten two) but I'm undecided due to obvious reasons.

Heard student jobs are available in the area, based on its proximity to the Munich Airport and other spots. The gist I've heard is quite positive (the university created a WhatsApp group for we Summer Intakes and quite a number of them are already in DE, so I get first-hand information). Plus the town is lively, it's a school community (Technical University Munich, Weihenstephan-Triesdorf, one other University are all there).

I'm rambling already, I'll stop here.

hello bro, am a starter here, just through with my masters here in Nigeria U.I to be precised. So i wish to further more in Europe, my preferred choice is schooling in Germany. i had a 4.7 (grade-point) Msc, and a SECOND CLASS lower divison (undergraduate) BTECH. i would actually love to continue in my field, which is NATURAL. (environmental toxicology) or rather any courses related to our environment, but still i have not been to GERMANY and i don't know even if my course would fetch me a job after school. ps. i don't mind if i re_do my Msc just to move out of this country. am tired.

To the best of my knowledge, there are opportunities for every field in Germany, maybe not in equal proportion.

The only barrier to some of those opportunities is "German Language" not as much required in some field though especially IT related.

Most Nigerians believe that after school will sort itself out, I think the first goal should be to cross over first and every other things follows from there.

Presently, is there any school waiving the GRE/GMAT for graduate program in Germany?
Re: Nigerian Students In Germany..how Do You Survive?? by Nobody: 5:21pm On May 10, 2020
Hello All,

Well done! for the good job you are doing.

Please, does anyone here have lived experiences from these two cities or either of them? Or generally any knowledge of what it entails studying there? Experience regarding side job while studying, life in general, and how difficult it could be with little to no German language. I do plan to start learning German though, just waiting for response on my admission application.

University of Erlangen-Nuremberg (Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg) --> International Economics (BSc) English taught
Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg ---> Business and Economics (BSc) English taught

They are both in "not much fancied" parts of Germany -I think- but I had to decide for these two schools, because they are the only 2 schools I could find that teaches an Economics BSc completely in English in Germany. I had searched on the daad website, but feel free to suggest more.

Please, I would appreciate if someone can answer.
