I can't believe that before our very eyes,people are trying to deliberately change the narrative that the money recovered as Abacha loot were not in fact stolen by Abacha. I wonder what the story will read from the next twenty years.

I am not buying Kemi`s story. My worry is just that if that amount is been recovered from the West, Then its just a tip of the iceberg compared to what he would have stashed in the Middle East.

Actually when dictators are looking for where to stash their loot,apart from looking for countries that offer safe haven like Switzerland,they also look for countries with some degree of stability.Apart from Saudi and UAE,most middle eastern countries are unstable meaning that a new regime can spring up and decide to confiscate all illegal funds in their country.
I think what should worry you is how much other politicians have stolen and are stealing because if not that Abacha is dead,the man would have been on top of his game and we won't hearing anything like Abacha loot.
