Hi guys, please I really need your advice. I have the option to buy Nigerian used lexus rx330 2005 or hyundai sonata 2013 from USA. Please which do you think is more reliable and durable?? I really don't want a car that will give me headache in near future. Also fuel efficient is considered. Thanks

Choose 2013 Sonata, but of by comparison they re not of same class in anyway. SUV and saloon. 8years difference also. if u can purchase a car above 3M. Fuel shouldn't be a problem.

But from the report I gathered, I'm told the sonata maintenance cost Alot, and it has a history of engine problems. A friend actually advised me to go for toyota corolla (uber type) since its just a knockabout car I need.

Theft magnet. And the sonata is not bad. People just don't maintain them properly.

I actually love the corolla, it looks new and only has 51k mileage, I ran a vin on the car, the last recorded mileage on the vin report was 47k and was August 2019. And the accident report was on the rear windscreen, which I will say is not bad at all. It's a 2003 corolla sport, but that car looks newer more than 2006 or 2007 corolla out there. I will love to bring the car to your garage so you guys can check it out for me.

That does absolutely nothing here in Nigeria. Go to the uber driver thread and ask about their experiences. Most frequently stolen are the lights, ECU, handles and radio. NOT cheap. Also, the one you are looking at is an auction car. If you do not have a mechanic who can check it out BEFORE you buy it, I would leave it alone. It's not normal for just windshield damage to send a car to auction.
