Kudos to Governor Hope Uzodimma if other governors can emulate you and revival some of our moribund industries like the textile mill, steel industry, Bendel glass and host of others there will be massive employment for the youths and crime rate will reduce drastically.

We're exporting Palm oil In Nigeria, just that we are not fully into agriculture, that's why our agriculture exports are low.

We are importing palm oil too

SE has so much industries lying fallow.
So much potential waiting for the tapping.
I honestly don't know the kind of creatures we have as leaders in the East today. How all those industries of old collapsed, I don't know, why they aren't being revamped I equally have no idea.
AVOP and all those is there lying waste in Enugu, while that round Teletubby is busy buying media awards and recognition for good governance.

Anyway if this doesn't turn out to be another one of their numerous publicity stunts and audio revival; 55% of the land should be gazetted for the cultivation of cannabis sativa; very important.

Same in every part of Nigeria.

The system we practice put us in this mess.
We need restructuring

Please carry your Edo state away!!! You and Igbos are not on the same level!! There are over 45million Igbos. Igbo is a nation. You're going to be highly unreasonable if I judge you base on this comment. smiley wink wink

Stay with the facts.

The most profitable and well managed oil palm plantation is in Edo state and they did not need to get their own nation. FACT. By the way I am not from Edo state. However, I love the way you try to to skilfully turn your absence of facts into a tribal one. 48 m people? What has population got to do with a well run oil palm plantation? The population of Malaysia is just over 31m and yet they lead oil palm production globally.

Failed excuse.

If you can understand and interprete company and market data https://www.bloomberg.com/quote/OKOMUOIL:NL

Based on your response, I seriously doubt your ability in this regard.

Bastard your states are poverty ridden yet you will look at Lagos and think it is the level of Yorubas in Nigeria, Lagos was built by the federal Government with Igbo contributing immensely to its growth so no one owns the state, ntoor!.

Your cursed assassinated ancestor Abiola made a fool of himself and was taken out by your superior tribe Hausa, same as Ojuwku released your rat poison consumer Homosexual Awolowo from jail like a dog.

Ebonyi state is now looking like America compared to Osun the disease and poverty den of Nigeria.

Do you know why Yorubas pronounce it as Ibo not igbo?

Pronouncing Igbo in Yoruba will mean Bush, Weed, Head knock, Etc.

That's why it's convenient to write and pronounce it as Ibo.

You are mistaking Owerri for Edo or better still for yoruba girls who are all over porn sites exhibiting what they saw their mothers do, due to high rate of infidelity among yorubastard mothers.. Imo state produce the highest number of Doctors in Nigeria, Imo women are number 2 in the number of pharmacists produced in Nigeria after Anambra state. Igbos are not Yoruba one million gang.

Ravon:
Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State on Wednesday said the state’s palm oil-producing industry, ADAPALM, could employ about 35,000 people if fully revived.

The governor said this while on an inspection visit to the palm oil industry to have an on-the-spot assessment of the state of affairs in the industry.

He said the industry if revived, would help the state government in facilitating industrial growth, harmony, expansion and increased productivity.

Mr Uzodinma said he was happy that production had resumed once again at ADAPALM and that 120 tonnes of Grade A palm oil was being produced daily.

He said that placing ADAPALM in its rightful place would boost the Internally Generated Revenue of the state.

He said the company was a value chain that could produce not only palm oil but also other oil-related products like margarine, sheer butter and palm kernel oil, among others.

The governor said: “We are committed to bringing ADAPALM back to the stream. It’s one of our greatest hopes of surviving the post-COVID-19 era.

“The economy is almost becoming epileptic. We have to look inward to see how best we can restructure our economy, boost Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) and then ensure that our citizenry is also busy.”

If all the useless former governors have worked on this huge palm oil farm to revive it to what it used to be imo state would have not been affected during this days of low crude oil prices. Palm oil is currently higher than crude oil in the market I couldn't believe my eyes the day a visited this adapalm at ohaji that place is supposed to be a very huge means of generating igr for imo if properly put to good use.

I tire o...thing is, when it comes to food, Yoruba's eat anything and anyhow, they don't know which is which. I don't think any Igbo woman that knows fully well what good palm oil is will be able to look a customer in the eyes and sell that oil to them...can't imagine my customer selling that kinda oil.
