My neighbour yesterday was asking "which party is this"
I answered him its not any party in Nigeria." And then he ask again, is it a company?
With anger I answer him yes, before he could ask again the full name of the company, I rushed quickly and told him is Nigeria Corona Development Company Jor. He ask me what brings the Jor inside when there's no letter J among those letters NCDC, I said to him, ok Jor is the name of the Chinese man who owns the company.

NCDC was established in 2018 by a bill sponsored by senator T. A Orji in 2017 and was eventually passed in 2018.

Judging by how young they are, I'ld say they are really doing well. They pleaded in avail with the FG to lock the borders then to avoid the situation we are now.

We only need a bill to strengthen them when we have another pandemic in a century time.

The idea for the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control Agency was conceived in 2011 where some departments in the Federal Ministry of Health was moved to help setup the agency. The departments at that time were Epidemiology Division, the Avian Influenza Project and the Nigeria Field Epidemiology and Laboratory Training Programme. In November 2018, the bill of an act to establish Nigeria Centre for Disease Control was signed into law by President Muhammadu Buhari.
