A big city like Port Harcourt should have an effective waste management system. I am highly dissatisfied with what I am seeing, here.

There should be huge disposal trucks assignment to each community for the collection and transportation of waste and rubbish to recycling plants.

Rubbish is equivalent to money, but a lot of people are too ignorant to take note.
You can generate power from waste. Even manure, I believe.
There are enormous benefits that comes with the effective management of waste.

Some people will be staying at Choba, Rumuosi, Ngoba, Rukpokwu etc and be claiming Port Harcourt..

Anyway, waste management in PH is generally poor but I'm impressed with the way it's been managed in the GRA area (Especially Old GRA). Each compound has its own waste bin that can be attached to the disposal truck during discharge..

I'm summary, seems some nairalanders derive joy posting negative comments and topics about Port Harcourt
