Tboy1419:
you said cough and fever, why NCDC want covid-19 symptoms samples, is cough and fever covid-19, or you want them to summit other Illness as covid-19 symptoms .
cough and fever are symptoms not Covid19

IFNOTGOD:
so anyone with cough n fever is now a covid 19 patient?

sometimes d way we comment just shows our level of education, dis is to lend credence to d claim dat most people are just cough n fever patient in d so called Nigeria case of corona virus figures been dishes out daily, fever n cough has been a normal occurrence even before covid 19.

I was surprised to receive a msg from NCDC dat says if I have fever or cough I should report to their station for testing.

at d beginning of the rain there is usually fever n cold.

people like u are d ones who tag every death as covid 19 case.

d case of Benue index case comes to play, 45 days in isolation with no drugs yet she is still alive n u claim she is a carrier
So Mr good education, once your sample is submitted for testing you have Covid19?

I disagree with any one that wrote this
Kogi state share boundaries wuth8-9 state and every one of dem have a patient of covid -19

Just last week I traveled from enugu to abuja I went kogi the governor is not helping matters

Country dat have try in containing this virus are those dat have done more test

2day nigeria with more than 200million pupolation has don only 30,000 test

Do u no nigeria is the only country in the world with huge pollution with less than 10,000 case

What nigeria need is to do more test and one foolish governor don't want summit sample for test

How has Mrs gates been proven right? Number of deaths is 150 out of 200 million people compare that with over 60k deaths in her own country!
The actual numbers of deaths caused by Coronavirus in Nigeria is not up to 150. A lot of those deaths are due to other ailments in addition to old age. This is why NCDC don't give details about those deaths!
I want to add that if Kogi state is left alone and nothing like mass deaths or serious illnesses happen in the state, then the SCAM of NCDC will be exposed for everyone to see and that is why they want to roll out Fake positive tests figures for Kogi state by all means to cover up their nefarious activities!

OP!!! I agree with you on your write up.
I was also shocked the day the NCDC said "Corona virus will surely get to all states in Nigeria". Since that day, I started suspecting that those guys at NCDC have a mission to accomplish with support from within and outside the country.

How can you make sure a statement in public not even once and Nigerians will not suspect you.

If you look at some countries that also have this virus, you would realize that it is not the entire country that is affected.

Lastly, not as if I doubt the presence of the virus in Nigeria. But I doubt the daily figures generated by NCDC without showing us any proof on TV as it is done worldwide and the general hysteria accompanying this virus.

For about two months and still counting, the fatality rate is still not bad as compared to developed countries, that is even if NCDC are giving us the correct figures.

Yes, the virus is in Nigeria, but some top men are cashing out from this SCAMdemic grin grin
These are the people we should avoid. Because his relative is yet to die via the virus he's seeing everything as scam. How will a sane government be losing billions daily by closing it's economy because it wants to cash out a few billions from donors? People need to really reason before they talk. Whoever calls a disease that has killed over a hundred Nigerians a scam deserves to feel the pain those in mourning are feeling. I rest my case.

I am speaking about the reality of the disease, the present and possibly future aspects as experts see it.

I donot involve myself in conspirational stories. I am not interested in where the virus originated and who might have or was not behind it. That doesn't help me or anyone else put a handle on it.

My present and future reality is to survive it then continue life as best as I can despite it. Whether the world is able to find a vaccine or not, the world must go on.
am not giving you any conspiracy of a story, I also got the source from doctor rashid buttar, and by the grace of God we will overcome and survive the virus in Jesus name.

OK...let NCDC stay out of Kogi...it is their right to keep them out.

But remember Kano. Ganduje did not take the thing serious, until people started dying in his state by the dozens. Then he was screaming for NCDC (and even criticising them for not setting their lab up fast enough).

Or like Bauchi that even refused to do lockdown, now Azare is in crisis, and other parts of the state too....

This isn't a 'pride' game. This is a serious health crisis. There is a high risk that covid 19 may reach Kogi state. Not because of any sinister motive, but [s]because Nigerians like moving around too much[/s], and unless Kogi has been able to close off every entrance and exit, there is no way that the thing won't arrive.

Then again, I pray and hope it will not arrive.

But it pays to be vigilant. Kano was not vigilant. They went from no36 to no2 now.
What exactly is ur problem with Nigerians. For every issue that you respond to, you always find a way to blame Nigerians. I'm sure Nigerians are not the most mobile people in the world. So, why blame their movements for the spread of virus when it's obviously due to govt incompetence?

OgbanjeProphet:
TAAA MECHIE ỌNỤ!' to Dr Abubakar Muhammed.

I know you have started your propaganda against another Igbo son.

Whether you agree or not, Coro Coro is already in Kogi state.

Although I am not totally in support of NCDC actions in Kogi state, Kogi Gov should come out clean and tell us how a state like Kogi, surrounded by states with cases of coronavirus, is coronavirus free.

When Mrs Gates stated her fear concerning Africa, many Africans almost crucified her, but tell me if she has not been proven right today...
How has she been proven right?
The death toll in Africa is still less than that of USA so how's she right?

Well, considering most people are not adhering to lockdown, and considering most people were not taking things like social distancing seriously, plus tales of people bribing their way through state borders...what did you expect.?

Nigerians , including myself, need to take some personal responsibility. Maybe things will change...government inclusive.

someone will just wake up one day and type one long rubbish, end it with a Dr name to deceive the ignorant ones
While another person will just wake up & call other peoples opinion rubbish as they only are authorities at every issue.

Talking of responsibility. A govt locks it's citizens at home for almost two months and can't get a hand on the cause of the lockdown. How responsible is dat govt? The security agencies who have made bribery their modus operandi are also a part of govt. That's where I believe the shoe is pinching us

The alternative is government not locking down, and at the end of the day, the number of severe cases of covid19 overwhelms our hospital beds...

(In the USA, if there was no lockdown, there would have been 10million severe cases needing admission. The number of hospital beds in the US is less than 1million. Let that sink in..and then extrapolate the thinking to developing countries like Nigeria. Scary. And the economy would be in even worse straits to boot.).

The sad thing is that our economy is so poor, it can't pay for palliatives to keep us comfy during this period. But the thing is, that is why Nigerians should stop voting for parties like APC and PDP that want to share money, and start voting in parties that actually want to develop a productive economy...or failing which put pressure on their governments.

I disagree
The alternative is govt locks down and does massive testing and isolation within a month. That way we can move downwards the slope quickly not just doing lockdown because others are doing it. Lockdown is supposed to be a means to an end not an end itself.

Chai, I can't believe that someone that can register in this forum could be this foolish, when he DG of NCDC said it will reach every where, they want everyone to be responsible and adhere to its guidelines, in this way the virus will be contained, why are we this foolish in this country, is not everything u should wail about... Even USA today have more than 80k deaths and almost I. 5 million cases, every nation should be afraid and responsible, don't doubt the existence of this virus here if u don't want to be a victim.. God please heal our world
see dumb reasoning! nah wa for some humans sha.

There is sinister plan by NCDC. A group led by a monster. Why would a public figure like that said the demon called Covid 19 would enter every state. They should be held responsible and sued for that. If they can't managed just Lagos and Ogun State, then they have failed as a unit.
