Refurbished phones are as good as new,you can't know the difference, the ones you're referring to are the ones made by quacks. Some refurbished phone has the exact same factory fitted parts from the phone's brand.

It is better to buy a phone you can physically turn on and use from a shop with a receipt and a good return policy or buy from a friend. It's better than wasting money gambling online.

Since then I only look at Jumia to estimate prices of things before I buy in a shop. Too many fake products with false advertising there.

There's a lot of fake G3s and G4s out there claiming London used.

Most of the so-called London used (it's London used no matter where they're from, even Verizon, Sprint, Cricket and AT&T phones are called London used too ) are refurbished anyway.

But for most phones you can use the app AIDA64 to authenticate them, and it helps if you know the original chipset, factory codename etc. beforehand.
