I think he will outgrow it. Always wear him pant and shorts and if possible put belt too to prevent him from easily putting his hands to touch the penis.

. Pant and shorts that he will remove himself. Wear him Pampers sef. He will remove it

Hello good evening momma's.happy mother's day. Please I want to ask if it's normal for my 1 year 8 months baby to be handling with his penis. Even when we beat and beat him, he doesn't stop. Sometimes he hides to do this
I think its a normal thing for boys. Some adult men even sleep with their hands in their boxers. Disgusting, right? Don't beat him, just make a bad face or tell him yuck, its disgusting. He will change with time. Try to read up about it.

Rather than beating him, maybe you can talk to him about it and try to convince him that it is a bad habit. It may seem weird to talk to a baby that small but I feel that they will understand. Do this consistently with him and be patient too, with time he will stop.

My sister I can relate to what you are going through. I took in when my first was 9 months. I was shocked cos it took a while to get pregnant for my first child and I thought breastfeeding was a method of family planning. I didnt expect it to happen so fast. I also had her through cs. You can imagine all the emotions with one child at nine months. So I know the emotions will triple when its twins at only four months. So here's how I was able to cope:
1. Calm down. Dont think about anything. Just calm down.
2. Forget about what people will say. This is about you, your health, your babies and what's best for them. People will always talk.
3. Seek medical advice. If you had cs, has your incision site fully healed? do you still feel pain there? How much monitoring will you need? Will this pregnancy threaten your life?
4. Surround yourself with supportive people not judginas. My mother in law was that support for me. She was so happy to hear of the pregnancy and she was supportive through out.
5. I know its not easy but try to rest as much as you can. Your body is going through a lot and you need to rest it as much as you can. Don't feel ashamed to ask for help. Get a help if you don't already have one.
6. Finally, be happy. To be the carrier of life is a rare privilege and not everyone is as lucky. Some people will kill to be in your shoes. Be thankful.
I am sending lots of hugs and kisses your way. You are going to be just fine. You will come out a stronger person. Congratulations ma.[/quote]

Mamas please, I need your inputs, especially if you've had such experience before. My baby's stool is foamy/frothy and he let's it out even with farts. I end up changing diapers as many as 10 times daily because he just can't seem to take any speck of poop in his diaper. The stools are runny (as I imagined all EBF babies' should be), not a lot like a typical diarrhea, yellow, seedy sometimes, but always foamy. He just got off antibiotics prescribed by his paed for some other thing. Was advised to wait it out, so I guess I'm here to ask how long I'm looking at if anyone has had the experience here and was there something else you did to curb it, which apparently I haven't...? Sorry about the gross pic but that is what it looks like..

Mama, that's how my baby's pooo is too oh...... It's stopped when she was six months old, when I started giving her pap and food, small small. Lol.. Dnt mind my English Biko..... Some babies poop alot and comes out foamy... I think it's from the breast milk.. Then I could remember, anytime my baby suck, she must pooo, if she sucks ten time a day, she will poop ten times. I was worried, but with time, it stopped.. Now she do go two days with out pooing..

Oh? Something in my boobs. I may have read something to that effect. So we may really be in this for the long haul, because I hope to EBF for 6months too. Let's see how long I can persevere. Thank you soooo much, mama.

Lol...interestingly, the stools have little or no stench AT ALL. Which is all the more confusing.

Plus my son's are more like just a stain on the pampers, never this much...yet undecided

Some antibiotics causes diarrhoea(side effect) my baby's poop was almost like this sometimes ago, changes diaper like 10times in a day,I was so worried that I had to take her to the hospital. You may have to go complain to your paediatrician so as to confirm if the poo is normal.

Yes, there's that too.. Can you share with me what the intervention was? Was it just stopping the antibiotics?

Sorry mama, try and take him to see an ENT doctor to rule out anything.... And when bathing him, try to avoid water entering the ear. Take care, stay safe

I spoke with a pharmacist friend who told me its normal for newborn to poop several times in a day,so far the poop is not completely sinking into the diaper I guess its still OK.My baby now uses like 5-6 diaper in a day and as d last time I checked her weight her weight is very okay and she's looks chubby sef.

Also try as much as possible to watch what you eat too.
