Probably test pilot/engineer.

Bro, this is no laughing matter. This is a serious QA/QC violation.

It shows that QA/QC is lax in that facility.

He looks like he is posing in the plane.

How could he be a test pilot/engineer, do they wear civilian clothing on the site?

Where is there HSE officer?

You can't try this in a Nigerian oil facility for instance. This is why we should have bought these planes directly from China where there are strict quality control measures in place and are followed.

First official photo of Nigerian Air Force JF-17.

Seen in the recently aired documentary celebrating the Air Force at 56.

Serial number 2P-60.

This indicates it is a Block II aircraft.
provide links to the video for me, please.

We hope so. grin grin

My main problem is the number of aircrafts.
how many are we expecting?

This also confirms that 2 of the 3 JF-17s Nigeria ordered have now been flight tested.

All 3 JF-17s would definitely arrive Nigeria this November.
the 17s are a 4th Gen fighter, right?

It is the responsibility of the Nigerian government to make sure our soldiers, our Nigerian army is properly equipped with the best equipment we can afford.

If Boko-Haram Terrorists fire at our soldiers with an AK-47 the Nigerian army should respond with a 30mm mounted on an IFV.

If Boko-Haram Terrorists fire at our boys with RPGs, we should respond with a a VT4 Main Battle Tank.

If they fire at the Nigerian army with 23mm, we should respond with guided bombs with Fighter Jets.

Every action by the terrorists should be met with overwhelming military force.

No encounter should be a fair fight, if a terrorist touches the skin of a soldier with his filthy hands, we should respond with a sledge hammer.

Far too many good men are dying in this conflict.

That's why I will keep continue to stay clear from
The Nigerian army recruitment portal

And also want others to do the same

Thank me later

They applied anti-corrosive coating before the actual paint job is done. This coating usually comes in yellow/green.

Personally I am extremely disappointied that we wont get JF-17B (Block III).

Yes, you can say it's a 2 way thing. I'm excited we got a good 4th Generation Jet, but we're entering the game very late and the numbers are too small.

Thats an anticorrosive, not the actual paint job.

Am happy with the JF-17 purchase, provided we get as much as 15 jets in the next few years.

And we still need at least 1 squadron of air superiority fighter. A 4++ gen, twin engine, long range, fighter/strike jet. Until then, there is still a capability gap in the NAF.

Have you not seen the threat of the US and the French armies in Africa, especially West Africa Nigeria weds to show off its power in the west African sub region and Africa as a whole to deter countries from placing too many bases other wise Nigeria may lose all its influence in the region, we also need tot see out Boko Haram very quickly and a news jet would serve us very well

Nigeria is surrounded with military bases of world powers. The NAF needs the long range, deep fighter/strike capability that can take out those bases if exigencies demand.

Besides, the JF-17 is not an intimidating jet. It is good for sure, but is not an air superiority fighter. It might not hold off well against the Rafale.

It is true but I think it is good strategy as well. Getting three at first and making it udergo regorous testing to scertain the true nature of the product within the perimeter of your environment before mass order is the best for me.
Following the marketing strategies of those Big companies, one could be deceive into thinking that a particular jet fighter could not be shot down.

unnecessary, there are other sectors in Nigeria that need revitalization, such as energy. Also, spending so much on military is not the best economically. Nigeria has no major threat and cannot afford to be a bully, as this could attract a lot of consequences.

Construction of SA Navy's Hydrographic Research Survey Vessel.

Today saw the erection of the H2A bow of the vessel.

A first for South Africa and the continent, the vessel would not only provide detailed mapping of the ocean floor and better geographical data for vessels such as submarines but would also have massive civilian benefits.

grin grin grin grin So you need fighters to take out bases of World powers?? Bro if Nigeria those that it would be erased as simple as that!!

Nigerias focus should be regional threats, if a super power comes knocking then you ain't stopping them with a couple of su30s....

Nigeria should equip itself as a regional power and with cost effectiveness in mind..... 20 JF-17s multi role fighters that can do everything from air superiority, ground attack, recce ect ect with 20 L15s for fighter training and light attack......with 12 Tucano and 32 Mi24 the Nigerian Air Force would be one of the most formidable on the continent
