Ojiofor:Is that so? Awo sent delegates to both sokoto and Enugu at the same time and the delegates arrived at their respective destinations at the same time, even though there were no flights in 1959. To make matters worse, the Sardauna knew that the AG delegates were already in ziks house at that moment (without whatsapp or facebook). Zik even had to excuse the AG delegates to take the call of the Sardauna. Meanwhile, Zik and the Sardauna had been friends since childhood, and Zik speaks perfect Hausa. |

deji17:I still maintain you that you are not quick on the uptake... Who corroborated your risible tale that Awo elected to concede primacy to Ojukwu? And was there a historical precedence to support such assertion? Should we take this lazy write up, which is hardly worth the time spent reading it, a proof of what played out? You cant even achieve simple coherence in recounting your fable... |

Only God knows what you people are after, only God knows why you people have chosen to be enemies to other south all of a sudden. May God deliver us from Judas Iscariot. May God deliver us from enemies within... Smh |

Are you aware she's the govnr general of countries like Canada, New Zealand, Australia, etc? Talk is very cheap! Again,so much for educated illiterates!! |

Abomination of a people....come 2023 ,lagbara Oloun,it's either someone from the east or SS, rightly,or if the abominable people wanna play smart, then power remains with the north. |

maestroferddi:Again, abusing people and throwing tantrums will get you no where. Zik aligned with NPC to form Govt, ignoring Awo. The rest is history. If you have a contrary history lay it bare. |

deji17:For God's sake,of what use,of what relevance is that today,if at all it's even true? We can keep dancing while the north continue to ride on horses. If you people want the south to remain divided,no problem. The north can continue to rule. And fyi,I'm not Igbo,I'm just a concerned southerner from the SS. |
| Re: British Did Not Handover Nigeria To Fulani, Nnamdi Azikwe Did. by deji17: 10:53pm On May 15, 2020 |
Justiceleague1:See, as long as there is a Nigeria under a democracy, power will continue to rate between the South and the North. The Fourth republic, started in 1999 with OBJ becoming the President for 8 years. Jonathan spend 5-1/2 years. All together close to 14 years. By 2023, when power is expected to return to the South after Buhari, it would have been 24 years of democracy out of which 13.5 yrs was South and 10.5 yrs for the North. How we organise ourselves in the South is up to us. Ijaw, Yoruba, Igbo etc. The North too is as diverse as the south as they have different tribes. |

deji17:Thank God you know this. But the question remains, why are you yorubas so bent on causing division in the south? Why are you making threads every day just to paint the Igbos in bad colours? Why is it that when ever there's matter concerning Kanu, Wike, Asari Dokuboh Edwin Clark, you yorubas are always the ones, the first to to crucify them, even gej and his wife, PEJ?! Have you ever seen northerners making threads every day condemning and crucifying fellow northerners no matter how bad they are? Have you ever seen northerners making threads on Abacha, IBB,abdusalam, buhari,...even Shekau? How many northerners opened thread in dollar man, Ganduje? But mention ngozi Iweala or Stella Oduah now, you people will be the first to insult, condemn and attack them!!!! Sure, power should come to the south come 2023 and it ain't supposed to be a big deal cos naturally and rightly,it should go to the east or worst case, SS. But isn't the same tinubu that destroyed the south and Niger Delta chance 2014 rearing to run come 2023? See,we other south are not like you guys,we will never contest with tinubu if he wants to run...we will never contest with our fellow southerner as our fellow southerner should not contest with us what is rightly our turn. We will back out and support the stranger from the north. Simple. But I hope and pray that shouldn't be the case. Good night |
| Re: British Did Not Handover Nigeria To Fulani, Nnamdi Azikwe Did. by deji17: 11:49pm On May 15, 2020 |
Justiceleague1:Its okay . The same way our Yoruba people attacks GEJ, Wike , Obi. Atiku etc is the same way they attack Obasanjo, Osinbajo, Makinde, Fayose, or even Tinubu. Nothing personal. People are just expressing their views base on how they perceive things. Atiku contested against Buhari, and they are both Northerners. Falae contested against Obasanjo, so no big deal. As for 2023, any southerner is free to contest and may the best candidate win. There will be a primaries in both popular parties. And if anybody from the south decides to vote for a Northerner, then no problem. We will not hold any grudge. We have been in opposition for so many years, so nothing to be afraid of there. It's a political contest, not a war. Good night my sister. |

Awolowo was duplicitous and deceitful in his negotiation with Zik. It was wrong sending two delegation simultaneously to Balewa and Azikiwe. It drove Zik into Balewa's hand. Zik should have look beyond that behavior and focused on political power which is the ultimate price. According to Nkrumah, seek political power and everything shall be added to you Ojiofor: |

Ojiofor:Let's assume that the quote in red is true. How do we know that the Sardauna did not outfox Zik? What other third party confirmed that Awo actually sent a delegation to Sokoto at the same time he sent a delegation to Onitsha? Remember a trip to Sokoto then would have taken many days is not up to a week. Why didn't Zik confirm the story told by Sarduana before abandoning Awo and dashing NPC (a party that came a distant third in the elections) the prime minister and then accepting to be a ceremonial head? Another mystery is that if Awo actually offered to give the north prime minister position and accept finance minister, why did the Sarduana not accept but accepted Ziks offer instead? Why did Zik refuse Awo's offer of prime Minister and accepted Sardauna's offer of ceremonial president instead? So this story is the basis of the distrust of Igbos of Yorubas in general. It seems the north are master's of political strategy. |
