What I cannot believe is that some of you are arguing about Atiku desire to sell the country to his FRIENDS. Someone even ask for quote. Nigerians, with this type of argument, many of us deserve to be sold and the leaders know that. Does Atiku have to say friends? How old were you guys during OBJ/Atiku Show? What is the meaning of Privatization? If Nigerians are these stupid anyone will be glad to sell us. This is not the first time. We sold ourselves across the desert and sea. Our fathers sold us in exchange for mirrors. Buhari is either dead upstairs or he has been castrated. Buhari Government is now competing with Jonathan Government on who is the worst Prodigal Son ever. |

Restructure this country and put things in order. What is the need of having all those senators and house of representatives that are doing nothing but they are going home with millions of naira. Reduce them and put the country in a proper way to go on |

ITT government The government recently claim they made #338billion from VAT alone in the first quarter: an estimate of 1.4 trillion in a year. Let us add that with $322million Abacha's recently recovered loot(@#400/$) that's #128 billion naira. A loan of $3.5billion recently was received from IMF that's about 1.4trillion naira We still don't how much JAMB,CUSTOM and other government agencies will remit this year's. Ain't we making any money from Agriculture with all their noise on rice production and food sufficiency? Ain't we making any money from mining? Our 2020 external reserve figure is $35.26 that's #14.1 trillion naira for crying out loud. That's enough to fund the budget. In summary, the govt has no excuse to cut the budget if their govt is progressive as they claim. |

executive12:That was why when it came up in the course of the Presidential elections that was the time for Nigerians to debate the merits or otherwise in a civil, cerebral manner so that by shaping our economic blueprint whoever was elected will have a mandate to take our economy into a new direction, one that creates efficiency by privatisation. But no, immediately it was suggested they turned it into propaganda and with their noisy press shouted down the idea with lies, false narratives, subterfuge, blackmail and intimidation. See where we are today. There is no democratic goverment that will not receive hard knocks for going back to its political vomit. They are just lucky that multiparty opposition is dead in Nigeria or has been exterminated by their feudal practices. But to the ordinary citizen I will say this. Can you see how the black man fails in most things. When we cannot put aside sentiment to reason the substance of every matter under debate, the result will be that we will take action without knowledge and preparation. When we say restructure they shout you down then do it out of expediency in a wishy washy manner and obviously fail. When we say decentralise the police they say no then seek regional police un a wishy washy manner. When we say privatise, deregulate, many other things they first look at where their principals stand then herd after it mindlessly. They now want to sell assets by themselves, without debate, without scrutiny, in the middle of a crises which we know can never attract proper value and without accountability because we are in a defacto wartime period. See.the mess Nigerians cause for themselves because of sentiment. |

The last I checked, USA returned about $300 million abacha loot. Can’t they put it up as deficit? Or they want to share it to the less privileged ( north)? I use one eye they watch them. |
