in the African setting, a girl must remain in her father's house till she gets married, but I think at 23 or 24 a girl should be old,wise and smart enough to move out, given that they are more vulnerable and physically weaker.

Many are jobless, depending on stipends from l multiple boyfriends, whilst the "independent and empowered " ladies that have a job are seriously underpaid and still expect a man to fund their lifestyle in one way or the other. I've been wanting to ask this question; what joy do Nigerians men derive in affronting the Nigerians ladies? It's still these same men who're worse and expect the ladies to be perfect and worship them

Nigerian girls are simply liabilities, waiting for a knight in shiny armour to come rescue them from their father's house.

The truth is that even if a girl works hard to be independent and leave her parents the society will still castigate her saying she is forming big girl no be man dey pay her rents and all that. We live in a society where all our actions are questioned no matter how right or moral we try to be. As a girl you don't have to be up to a certain age to leave ur parents house. You can leave when you like and feel you are independent enough. Funny enough, some parents will still be against their daughters living alone because in their mind they men may not see them marry

yep. I'm not in my twenties yet. It's not a must to leave at that age. But i'm independent.... I can't see myself staying with her by then even though she doesn't agree.
