This is not about Rivers state or Wike... Food is on the essential list but why did Wike choose to deny food stuff into the state all in the name of Lockdown. Let us stop playing politics with everything.. As at today Wike is a governor of a state under the Federal republic of nigeria and i don't think He is supposed to be going against the FG directives all the time..... We all see how other states detain or return the Almajiris and give pass to the trailers conveying the foodstuffs but the case in Rivers State is the opposite. He seized the trailers with goods and even boasted that he will auction them.... Ships are on the high sea and can't berth at the ONNE port just because Wike arrested the port workers who reside inside PH and they're among the essential workers which the FG gave pass to.

After chasing out all the companies with his dragonial attitude he will still come to blame innocent people for demarketing the state, people are moving their companies out of Rivers State yet he cannot provide jobs for the people

Please can you name the 80 percent of the food we eat in Rivers State that comes from the North? You people just come online to Blab because you have data and a smart phone, if you feel that you feed the state, and the same state is telling you to halt your feeding for just 4days of the total lockdown you are already constituting taskforce to send the food even when the person that you said you feed 80 percent is telling you not to come in, so tell me, who is more earger? See how una dey disgrace unaself online.

Who told you people that trucks carrying food are not been allowed into Rivers State? This forum is seriously becoming a breeding ground for miss information, moreover ever since the outbreak of this virus, Rivers State have just experienced total lock down for just 4 days, in addition to the one that will begin from Monday the 18th... Go to Slaughter Market and Boricamp gate each day and see trucks offloading food items from both within in and out side the state, you people should stop misinforming people.

I guess you are blind and can't see, come to markets in Rivers and see how many of the products there can't be sourced from the state, some of you are either too naive, lack confidence or are not vast in information gathering. So if you are from the south south, no food is produced in your own locality or community, my brother my village in Rivers State produces wide variety of Agricultural products and we are into the farming season now. Get informed, we all need each other in the business chain, they need our markets to get the cash while we need some of the products from them to compliment the ones available here to get a balanced meal or diet. So if that is what you have been having in your head get rid of it, becos this lock down have revealed quiet a lot of things.

All states are asked to go to the customs warehouses in their Geo-political zones. They didn’t ask only rivers state to go to Calabar.

Most of the garri produced by ogonis and other areas can't survive this state for a month, they source more garri from Delta.
Most of the crayfish are from nembe and Oron (Akwa ibom), I'm not talking about vegetable products and dairy products from the north o, let's be sincere and remove emotions from our posts.

Even the North depends on the south for some products too.
