Lagos colony(SW) was attached like a parasite to Southern Nigeria (SE and SS) in 1906 by Sir Egerton.

That was the only building constructed with cocoa money. The rest was oil money. 3rd mainland bridge is oil money.

The East was controlled by the Eastern tribes with Enugu as it’s capital, West by majorly the yorubas with Ibadan as it’s capital. The same way igbos migrated to Lagos is the same way majority yorubas migrated to Lagos.
