Barrytone:Akwa ibom must not be in Nigeria. If Akwa Ibom is as rosy as you are sounding, Akwa Ibom people will not be all over ph doing menial jobs. FYI.. Any state in Nigeria where people are not sleeping in parks means the state is economically dead. |

hustla:455 yesterday. 450 last week |
| Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by Nobody: 6:04pm On May 19, 2020 |
chigo4u:I have Britons and Americans doing menial jobs in my company, are you saying those two countries are doomed. I repeat nobody sleeps in park here except luxurious bus parks that those itinerant workers sleep in their office. For people to constantly reside in the park as their homes. No way. Visit akwa ibom and believe me. All parks in Uyo are well managed. I repeat, never met anybody that lacks an abode in AKS. Note that most parks close from 8pm and we don't do night travels here. If you visit after closing hours you will be surprise that you will find no one, ask those that arrive late from Lagos and Abuja, they wait till next day before they see anybody to arrange cab for them. |

chigo4u:Will soon go down. Oil prices are coming up and countries are reopening. Should be good around June |
| Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by Nobody: 6:16pm On May 19, 2020 |
chigo4u:Why should someone passing through and maybe spends max of 2 days in a town rent a house. That fraction should not be part of your data for making Uyo people "homeless". I repeat, every resident in AKS owns a roof over his head. |
| Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by chigo4u: 6:20pm On May 19, 2020 |
Barrytone:People who sleep in parks are not only travelers. If you want me to believe there are no homeless people in Akwa Ibom I want you to also believe there are no homeless in Lagos too. |
| Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by Wiseoldman: 6:20pm On May 19, 2020 |
Barrytone:I understand @chigo4u's point. No insults intended. But is is common news that PHC slums (batchers) are filled with folks from Akwa Ibom. It seems wierd to me. I have driven to Calabar numerous times, and I passed through Akwa Ibom. It is indeed a nice place. |
| Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by Nobody: 6:25pm On May 19, 2020 |
chigo4u:I don't know Lagos, talking about where I know. I stated earlier that criminals prefer homeless situations. Attempts were made by some traders to be sleeping in plaza, crime rate increased and they were comb out. Nobody sleeps there. And that was the genesis of plaza police station. Where homeless people hang outbid always a criminal hangout ànd we don't tolerate that in my state, you must have a traceable house. Don't be caught napping at night in public, na police station you go take reach house. |

Street kids were mobbed and housed. If parents drop 3years old kid by the road and someone picks it before the govt, that doesn't translate to homelessness. Abandon kids have homes in akwa ibom. We don't have street kids in akwa ibom The Akwa Ibom State government has evacuated children engaged in hawking during school hours off the streets of Uyo. They are to be sent back to school immediately. The exercise, executed through the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Welfare, is part of the government's efforts to rid the state of street urchins.Jul 24, 2019 https://thenationonlineng.net › a... juniorrate: Barrytone:Bros stop lying.People are not sleeping in parks but many are sleeping in plaza which is the same thing .And the unemployed youth level is alaming. Then many cooperate beggers everywhere..Most Ak are employed by state government with over bloated civil servant and touts in the name of task force for everything. Then at etam flyover many sleep thr and anything from 7pm you are at risk of being robbed by criminals who live under the flyover and the market in the open. The poverty level is very high,80 percent live in face me I slap you. |
| Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by Nobody: 10:05pm On May 19, 2020 |
Biafran4life:If you are sleeping at plaza say so because o know nobody sleeps at plaza. Thank God nobody sleeps in park. If you see itam flyover as beautiful and wish you should be staying there, sorry you wouldn't have room mates, you are alone. Am aware of security challenges I itam due to cult activity and not because people stay under that flyover. What do you see that makes you think people sleep there. That place is clean with only flowers. The show me love crew you mention are even the big boys. Unemployment lies in the we yes of the beholder because those men might be wealthier than you. The task force you frown at is a better job that prevents people like you from messing the town up. Laws and rules must be obeyed or boys chop and since nigerians can't obey laws the politicians settle the boys to take from you. I have never been accosted by the task force because am law abiding so check your activity. As for the lying part, i now know you more than you know yourself as a biafran. Keep it up. |
