Can someone give me the names of the agencies that will be recruiting. I was supposed to be working with NPA since last year but tragedy happened. The guy that was sorting it for me died in an accident. And I didn't know any of his link.

Sorry if this question is stupid. But please what is the difference between recruitment and replacement? If agencies say, "we're not recruiting," are they just being clever with their choice of words? How many people can be recruited vs. replaced at a time according to civil service rules?

Above 100 is Recruitment.

Recruitment can he secret or open.

I may be wrong but was told replacements are usually when they have promoted few people or had a few people retire leaving open already existing slots that have already been budgeted for. In that case the agencies do not need the same level of approval as recruitment does. An agency does not have to advertise replacement.

For recruitment these are usually newly created slots goes through more intense approval process. An agency can also get a waiver to have a closed recruitment that is not advertised if it makes a good case (most times agencies usually say public recruitment is too expensive and they can’t afford it).

Please guys, any information about ICPC and INEC recruitment?

I read somewhere that INEC has entered the second phase of recruitment, I don't know how true it is.

Please any information on these two agencies?

Heard from a senior staff of Npa that Apl has started to be distributed. So those that have link there and are expecting Apl should pray more and intensive their efforts to get their Apl too.

There is a possibility of secret recruitment.

I just read on

https://humangle.ng/alex-ekwueme-hospital-workers-enrolled-into-ippis-after-humangle-report/

That Alex Ekueme Teaching Hospitals workers enrolled in IPPIS. Not new workers though. But if people can be enrolled in IPPIS, then it means there is a possibility of recruitment.

More reason they collect money to pass students. Why won't students fail ?? If I were a lecturer, You just have to fail..YES you must fail...so as to come back and give me money to pass my course...Gaskia!!!

Not all lecturers can stomach collecting money from students.. others who cannot do that are trying their hands on other things to bolster their finances....the truth is that Univeristy lecturers earn very poorly, only the name is there.

While the accountant general's ofice is busy blaming ASUU for irregularities in payments...ghost workers and others. They are just trying to divert attention away from ASUU's objections. ASUU has no access to the university treasury. ASUU's activities have always been funded by direct monthly contributions of members. ghost workers' payments are not paid into ASUU's accounts. It is the Vice chancellors and University Bursars who should be grilled concerning these accusations, not casting the mud on ASUU simply because ASUU is insisting on not wanting to be party to the gross fraud that IPPIS is being used to perpetuate.

The evidences abound of indvyiduals who IPPIS' staff called to send their bank details....then get registered as staff of MDAs they do not belong to...and when salary gets paid on payday...the same individuals are mandated by the IPPIS staff to transfer a certain fraction of their received undeserved pay into the registering personnel's account.

Maybe ASUU should have fought for her members' welfare instead from the outright rather than setting itself up as a defender of the masses.

All I know is that when this blows over, the University system will likely end up like the public secondary and primary schools..... those who have the money ..will send their wards to private unis. Except that most private universities can hardly ever match public schools in equipment, depth and quality.

Maybe in I.T and management courses you might not bother too much. But when it comes to hard sciences.... Many private Unis. can't stand. The ones who do, often have public uni staff in their employ.

A much better outcome will be for ASUU to fight for salary regularisation.... and make sure payment falls in par with at least that of the most paid public employees in the country. At that level.... no staff will kill himself unnecesarliy over stipends of chasing other adjunct lectureship anywhere....

Then all ASUU members can face teaching and research which are their main duties....and ensure probity in the system... by then... students who enroll must be ready to work or get poor grades and certificate as a consequence.. afterall there'll no more be motivation to cut corners.

As for the lawmakers...no problem... another election is coming... ASUU should bid their time..all those involved in this shaming will soon come for elections after Buhari leaves. That'll be the best time to pay them back in their coins... you dont need to argue with someone who you know will soon come to beg you for food. ASUU will wait for them then..let them keep standing aside now as if ASUU has no use to the Nigerian community.

Oga you sabi street?

Dblock89:
Oga this is almost impossible now because you can't be working for someone for a year without getting even 30% of your salary, why not just tell the person to be collecting some percentage of your salary monthly so that you can pay your bills monthly with the one left with you.
Re: Monthly Net Salary Of Federal Government Ministries, departaments, Agencies And P by maajimk(m): 8:22am On May 21, 2020
That's why i been ask earlier if you sabi street.
1. You don't or won't need t/fare...
2. You may not have to pay for your food
3. Most office workers don't wear good clothes, try paying attention.
4. Security room dey your office last last, bond with them. Reason them say na your previous work na him be this. Na d security pay you take do degree, give them hope!

Dblock89:
The reason I said so is because,
1-You will need money for your transportation to work daily

2-You will need money for your feeding daily

3- You need money to buy good clothes for work
4-You need money to pay for your rent because if you were staying with someone when you start working everything changes nobody want to hear that you are not collecting salary and same goes to your girlfriend and family as well, so brother it is impossible to change this narrative perhaps sentiment.

I just wish God would use someone to help me get a good Job.

I can give instances of how I almost got good Jobs but just when I was supposed to start thanking God for answered prayers, something just happens. It has been happening like that for years now....

I remember how someone here left me stranded in Abuja and he all of a sudden stopped picking his calls. Just when I thought I had gotten the Job. I had to travel back home and till today I can't explain what happened.

What about the others? They would give excuses or ask to do unthinkable things before they help, of which I couldn't.

I know I have DM'ed a few people on here for help, and once I told them that I needed help to get a Job, they stopped responding. Some would just say they couldn't help bluntly and I can understand.

If I had the money maybe I would have bought a Job since that's what the country has turned into but I don't have it.

Apart from the fact that I have younger ones at home who are also graduates and dependent on me(they also need Jobs), I also need to go for my Masters program and I really don't have the finance for that. After trying for scholarships for years for my MSc and failed to win any, I decided to self sponsor.. Don't know how I'll get the money but I'm trusting God for that.

I'm pleading with any kind hearted person that's willing to help me get a good Job. I'll be grateful if you could send me a message. Thank you...

A job is one of the most difficult thing to get in Nigeria now. It's better to ask people for money than to ask them to get you a job.
I know wealthy people that own ships, but when you ask them to help you get a government job, they will show you tons of CV's of their own children and relatives in which they have not been able to assist.
Don't blame them only a few previledged people have genuine access to government jobs, and they are pretty difficult to come by.

Please don't loose hope. Keep pushing on. We will all get there very soon.

You know I remember how we were told to learn to fish rather than begging for fish. That if we had an opportunity to ask, it was better to beg the person to give you a source of income rather than begging for money. But with the situation of the country, it seems begging for money is way easier. But until how long will one continue to beg for money?

I'm in dire need of money for a lot of things.. I mentioned a few in my previous post(and I don't mind receiving financial help). But getting a good Job is really my prayer.. and I know it's the prayer of so many persons. I hope God grants us our desires.

Amen o my brother/sister.

I actually have someone who follows our HOR, I gave him my CV and then he promised to get something out in the federal for me, this was since last year. Each time I call, he keeps telling me of how some persons whom he submitted the CV with mine got in cry
It got to a point I began to ask him for financial assistance too coz I got a teaching job with my state govt, and since October last year till now, we have not been paid (though some of us had been paid), it got to a fix late last month when my rent was to expire, I had already exhausted all my sources, he too wasn't forth coming, I had to post it here then, but I still couldn't meet up with the rent. My dear, I had to leave the house and went to my church for refuge, since then, I decided not to hala this my guy again...

But yesterday, he called again and requested i quickly send him my CV, I couldn't ask him what's up, coz I don see plenty, and moreso, I was too curious to even ask why coz I want to leave here soonest.

Now he rose my dead hopes again and sometimes I wish he hadn't told me, but most times, I thanked God he did. I couldn't ask him for aids again, just trying to hustle some little cash and then get another apartment soon, praying to be paid by this silly state govt.

So my dear, even to ask for money self don weak man, its just to place things in God's care, soonest, we'll all have testimonies to tell our young ones. Cheer up dear, something in me keeps telling me that there's light somewhere and we'll get there.
