We have raised a charge back to confirm status of the transfer from access bank, this was declined that the beneficiary has been created. They can confirm on extraswitch with log code- EBN033780955"

I don't know what do so again. Help me

Did you bother to escalate the matter to the CBN? What did they do or say?

When people ignore money like that because it's "little" to them, it gives the dubious folks wings to continue with their criminal act.

Just like about 2-3 years ago, a fellow I was discussing with mentioned how his banks deducted arbitrarily from his account regularly for SMS alerts - the amounts were like 10 or more more than standard SMS rate. He decided to not bother complaining since it's "little amounts."

Any bank that deducts N20 from my account will have to provide an explanation.

This same Access Bank charged me unwarranted fees on 25 March. I complained the next day and they didn't bother to reply. I had to contact them again on Sunday; still waiting for their reply. They have to explain what happened! Else, the countdown is on for dumping them.

Call me an Ijebu man if you will. Politicians can't cheat me and banks will also do the same.

I am not the type that allows people to cheat on them easily, but in this kinda of situation, I have to let it go.

The town I am residing is very far to the nearest location the bank is situated. The transport fee to and fro is close to 600#.
I have being there several times, wasting transport fare and nothing has been done.

Pushing further means expending scarce resource during this pandemic. And if I am renumerated later, it will be a loss on my side.

Funds can't just disappear into thin air. Keep on pressuring both banks until something meaningful comes out of it.

Similar thing happened to me back in 2016, it took up to 6 months of continuous follow-up, the funds eventually came out.

I go to bank almost everyday. There are times I have to go as early as 7am because of the queue under the sun, sometimes rain. I transport myself too (the money am supposed to feed myself with during this pandemic). Since 09/03/2020 over 70days now.

Access bank is gradually becoming a scam.

Similar thing happened to me on Monday. I did a transfer of #9500 to a supplier's Eco bank account. My account was debited but the supplier's account was not credited until this afternoon; that's two days after.

I wrote them several emails but they refused to acknowledge any. I even tried reaching their customer care line but they exhausted all my credit without linking me to any of their online agent.

Just today I decided to drag their name on twitter, not too long I got a response that the transaction was successful. Few hours after, my vendor called that he has been credited.

What I have learnt is that until one act irrationally by going online to lodge a complaint and drag their name, they are likely not to take you serious.

Maybe it's high time I stopped transacting with them. They keep embarrassing one especially when you need them most.

1k was deducted from my access bank account for ATM card which I never applied for. I have reached out to them severally and even copy CBN yet no reverse.

I will definitely file the case in the court soon when I have the time.

I have moved all my fund to Binance and withdraw to my account as the need arises. Crypto exchanges like Binance is safer than most of the financial institutions we have these days. It also protects your funds from being freezed in the event of execution of garnishee order

Yes. I was seeing the money in my access bank app for over a month till it disappeared suddenly..
I even thought someone transferred the money, I was scared But know I don't have an ATM card for the account, I rushed to the bank the next day which was on Saturday (the bank was close). I couldn't sleep for 2 night. I went to access bank the next Monday and since then, nothing has happened.

I have sent mails to cbn and sent all evidence including statement of account from both Banks but no reply.
I am frustrated and I stay in Ondo State where there's no interstate movement so going to Lagos to complain physically is very difficult. I don't know what else to do.
Over 2 months now

Try using twitter, rant all you can and tag access bank as a scam and mention cpd cbn on the tweets...

Works a lot faster...

Ask questions why eco bank said access bank got the payment but access bank said it refunded back to eco and for 2 months, one of them is holding onto your money fraudulently ...

Write to the complain unit at the CBN and copy the efcc or send a petition to their office at awolowo road ikoyi.

CBN does not do anything now. I have a case of NGN 100K now and Access Bank is not doing anything about it...

I just spoke with a Quickteller agent on phone, he said I will have to talk to the banks since its an ATM transfer and I didn't use their site.
