Please someone should attend to this question. I'm supposed to resume by November. This exam is what is holding my admission. I don't what to ask them stupid questions like, can i come to Canada and write it there? If you don't attend to this question this last time I'm sending it, I'll be very angry with all of you ![]() My School just sent me an email that i will have to write an entrance exam in Nigeria. I will do that in any university or college or organisation that supports such exam. The Below is the email he sent. I copied the confusing part Step 2: Write the pre-admissions entrance exam. We are available Monday-Thursday from 9AM-5:30PM and Friday 8:30AM-2:30PM. For applicants that are located in another city, province or country they may write the pre-admission examination at a local University or College that is equipped to proctor exams from other institutions. How to find a proctor: If you wish to write the exam closer to home, please provide us with the name of the Institution, the name of the proctor, professional e-mail address and business contact number that is equipped to do so. We will then contact the proctor and arrange for them to have access to the pre-admission examination online. Mandatory Pre-Admissions Entrance Exam: 1. Who has written any such exam? 2. And where will i find the university doing it? Please i await your response |

Anon123:Hello Anon123, The bolded isn't always the case. There is difference between family and third party sponsorship. There is no harm using a company account for a parent/sibling sponsorship especially in the marital status of the OP. Let's not always mix up this things and cause unnecessary fear or panic. Notwithstanding, your posts are insightful. One love! |

I am expecting to get my second semester tuition fee plsu living expenses from my sister I stated I would be using as main sponsor, using myself as sponsor should I have her send the money to me as a gift deed? My sister in Canada has no family and status, she lives in a 2bedroom apartment that has anotherr occupant in the other room but she has informed the occupant to vacate as I will be arriving. God bless you for your reply. shyle02: |

Go through the GCMS note and deal with the VO's concern. Also, get your siblings to sign an affidavit on your behalf, stating your application for a study permit is solely for studying. You do not intend to immigrate to Canada. You will return to Nigeria after you complete your studies or before your status expires. That you will not rely on Canadian public funds or social assistance. Goodluck ron5ke: |

This means you need to get an invigilator to invigilate your exam. Usually, such a person would be a lecturer, teacher or anyone in the academic field. The person must have a school email address. something like ojo@unilag.com. If you are unable to find an invigilator or if your invigilator does not have a school email, send an email to your school and explain your situation. Also, let them know schools are closed and physical distancing could be a hindrance. Ask them if you can do your exam online. Goodluck Ifesinachi22: |

Mobi22:Hello Mobi22, The VOs always think that every applicant until proven eligible for a SP wants to use it as a means to facilitate entry. It will be best not omit any relevant document esp that which shows any financial commitment et al. If you're expecting more open contributions to your query, give a more detail profile regarding your application so people can give inputs. All the best |

OK dear. Thanks. One friend just told me its like a CBT, that a big cyber cafe can do it or even all those venues they use for JAMB CBT. I want to know if anyone here has done this kind of exam before. I have emailed them enough already. If i continue asking them to explain everything. It will make me look like a dunce before them. dommakavelli: |

Strongwind1960:Hello Strongwind1960, It is always advisable to declare any health issues. It may have work for your friends doesn't mean it will for others. Every applicant is suppose to truthfully declare or intimate IRCC with accurate information in order for the VO not to induce error. Asthma and even Turbaculosis doesn't ALWAYS end up in denial if the applicant can prove that its under proper check. For the application to be more transparent, its best to declare it in the IMM form because the panel physician will definitely find out and revert to IRCC. So why take chances of not declaring it ab initio? These VOs are discretionally active and vibrant. Immigration process is a very complicated process and honesty is a consideration. One love! |

Ifesinachi22:It is their duty to respond to your queries, so keep asking them if you are not sure. Like the other moniker suggested, tell them Nigeria is on lockdown and they should give you other alternatives. |

Shizzleadedapo:Hello Shizzleadedapo, You've failed state the reasons for your previous refusals and did you request for your notes between intervals? If yes, what did it state and/or was it generic? With the limited information at hand, get them to pay your first year tuition fees and show the required $10k in full. Also, for proper guidance from the house, you ought to state the financial and personal circumstances of your sponsors. In as much as inflows and outflows are relevant in a given situation, the closing balance is utmost. Furthermore, you should declare your child and provide evidence proving you're a single parent. This makes it easy for future referencing of the child to IRCC in terms of immigration when the time comes. For your personal status and financial situation, you should demonstrate these things to the VO with substantial and cogent proof. My response was based on the provided info. All the best |
