Kwara is emiratized forever. What will you do about that? grin

@thread like I said earlier. No matter how yorubas lament about Igboland, the truth remains that the same route that allowed the Aros, Ekpeyes, and other Igbos to trade with the white man on the atlantic during in pre-colonial times before any Igbo man ever heard the word 'yoruba' will still be used for international trade in Biafraland.

yorubas can shout themselves hoarse about landlocked, etc, while abookis in Kwara continue to impregnate their yoruba wives, mothers, and sister through the anusz, it changes nothing. grin
See the future of Biafra.

Common sense is alien to this one.

Take a look at the comment below, the bad blood is inbuilt, even their lost brothers can testify.

Have you seen the so called "Delta Igbo" talk about Igbos before?

A guy I know called Ossai from Delta openly states that they are fraudulent. I pause and look surprised because even his own first name is strong Igbo, yet he says it as though he is talking about some foreign tribe.

His anti Igbo opinions are so strong and he doesn't even care that he is expressing them in the workplace where other Igbos are.

The Ossai guy is close to 50yrs ooo, not some young misguided ignorant fellow.

Let me not even talk about my experience with the Ikwerre while I was in Port Harcourt. They bear Igbo first names but will strongly reject being associated with Igbos.

I was like, wetin Igbos do all this Igbo naming but Igbo denying tribes of the Niger Delta.

Yoruba ronu speech of Akintola is still haunting the Igbo man as it highlighted their agenda to dominate every federal position while in partnership with the uneducated North. The speech also stressed the need for the better educated Yoruba to align with the Northern led Federal Government, so as to have a voice at the table when executive decisions are being made and appointments are being shared, as opposed to the Igbo merits all agenda of Azikiwe and NCNC who were the junior partners to the Northern NPC.

Besides, how can that speech make Akintola famous he was already the Premier of the Western region?

Every Yoruba must listen to that speech and realize the greedy fellows we have always had in our midst.

When many Yorubas have forgotten about the speech, Igbos like you keep on reminding us why you killed Akintola, and also helping to reinforce why you should not be sympathized with when you are wailing about marginalization.

He who marginalized with arrogant and blatant nepotism, has now become the marginalized.

Poetic Justice.
Akintola like the typical Yoruba of the time was a paranoid schizophrenic that was hearing voices in his head. He wanted an alliance with the North so had yet the North didn't even consider him or his party worthy enough to form an alliance? goes to show why the North didn't even consider him consequential enough to allow him sit at the table of power. For the record no Igbo man lost or is losing sleep over Akintola's paranoid-induced speech, I was only making a point of context in reply to your ignorant brother who claimed Igbos started the hate. Igbos come to your region and dominated you in all indices, your academia had more Igbo VC's in the top universities in the Western region notably among which was UI, and the ridiculous Yoruba narrative to the situation was that the Igbos didn't occupy those positions by merit, some even claim Zik played politics and installed them in those positions... cheesy so much for been better educated, talk of been dumb and daft even putting together a cognitive line of reasoning as to how and why the entire Yoruba race were sleeping when Igbos came in and somehow dusted them in nearly all indices right on their turf. Pray tell how conceivable was it to believe Zik had so much power to dictate to Awolowo and Akintola even in their own region? It's also on record that a Yoruba student (Kayode Adam's) stabbed the new Yoruba VC who replaced Professor Eni Njoku as a show of protest?

Egbon leave too much talk, we must play these hate to its logical conclusion, you started the hate and we are now replying in good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over.

let's get emotionally matured please,
the term Landlocked refers to an area that does not have a "DIRECT" access to the ocean via a sea,
and as long as I am concerned, South East Nigeria do not have direct access to the ocean but they do have some Rivers that flows into the Atlantic ocean but those rivers do not flow in directly because they pass through the territory of a south southern state,
Some have suggested dredging and expanding the river to the ocean, yes it is possible besides I have watched a documentary about an artificial sea created to support a seaport in an Asian country but who is going to do the dredging and expansion?
such a capital project requires the full approval and support of the Federal Government , and it is glaring that the possibility of that happening is very minimal.
River port and Dry port are two things that we should be talking about instead of all these unnecessary noise about seaport,
its unfortunate that we found ourselves in a hate filled country, had it been that it is a country where Love and peace reign, all the seaports in South South geopolitical zone ought to be functioning fully, but we know why it is not so, so that a particular geo political zone close to south south will not benefit from it, so that they will continue to cluster in Lagos to import thereby swelling up their Internal Generative Revenue,
we know this game,
Dry ports in a developing country are used to connect landlocked states to the sea port via a rail network, it is this technology that can be used to connect the whole northern states that are far from the ocean to the seaport.
the same dry port in Aba and Onitsha will play a crucial role in the economic activities of these two cities.

You're not feeding or clothing any Igbo man, so why should we give a flying f**k what do think? the marginalized people are you idiots who stupidly voted Buhari, yet are been sidelined from key positions in his government despite giving him the highest vote after the North, economically you're not faring better than the Igbos (the lock down has exposed the suffering in your region at least), we are all "suffering and smiling" together under the Buhari government, yet we are supposed to be the "5 percenters" grin.

Sometimes I wonder if that Ossai is from a different Delta state besides the one we all know.

You wrote all this but proved your ignorance. The reason why there are threads on this issue of the South East being landlocked is that so many Nigerians think that being landlocked is the same thing as having no access to Sea. Thats the same argument you are trying to make above. There is no such thing as having direct or indirect access to the Sea, you either have access to the Sea or you dont. Does the SE have access to the Sea? Yes they do. If the SE becomes an independent country, will they have the right to make use of the international waterways to get to the Sea? Yes becuse the River Niger and its tributaries are international waterways, Nigeria does not own it.

The SE does not need the permission of Nigeria to dredge the Rivers as Nigeria does not own it. Also, Article 125 of UNCLOS law makes it impossible for Nigeria to deny the SE access to the Sea via international waterways. Onitsha, Oguta and Obuaku in Abia all have Rivers that empty into the Ocean and have good potential as River ports

The only thing that made sense in what you said is that the massive investment will be needed.

Land locked is not the same as not having access to the sea.

Why are people trying to treat it as the same thing.

A country can be land locked and still have access to the sea through its river systems.

All you hear day in, day out is, "we are marginalized", "they hate us", "woe is me", blah blah blah.

I would have told you to get over yourselves already, but I know you can't.

It is inborn.

Reminds me of the jubilation of Igbos in the North after the coup when the northern leaders were killed like chicken plus the attendant cries of "We Igbos will dominate".

What followed was a pogrom and the attendant cry, "they hate us..."

Today, no one is talking about the initial jubilation. Just the resultant massacre.

Same thing here.

Kanu has been preaching hate all over the media.

He coined names like "Fulani", "yorrober" etc to denigrate ethnicities in Nigeria.

Names that his followers happily parrot in glee.

Now, they want us to believe that the hate is unjustified.

Only people who don't know you fall for your tricks.
