From the little information you gave,the screen might be faulty,seems it's non responsive. Take your phone to a good food repairer.

Refurbished phones doesn't mean a bad phone, it is just a pre-owned handset, that was sent back to the seller or manufacturer, within the grace period, often 30days, due to one reason or the other, for example, a seller changing his mind about a phone, so as to get another variant of the same model.
Hence, before been put back for sale, the manufacturer must have ensured that the phone is working perfectly, and tested thoroughly.
In fact, most manufacturers often update the phone, for example to latest OS before been sent back to market.

so because it's a " refurbished phone " doesn't mean it should stopped working after a few weeks.

Now una lord and personal savior don do the same, ur busy asking him useless questions. Even forcing him to accept he bought a refurbished phone.
Someone said it's no longer in production since 2018 as if its a tangible excuse. lol.

Don't mind them, a phone with over 40megapixels still needs gcam app befor a user will enjoy the camera, yet they want to tell us this is the best thing after slice bread.

They keep shouting some other brands have lesser chipset quality, yet popular mtk p22 that they bad mouth, is better than sdm665 chipset in that device...

they'll tell you how it's cheaper for it's quality, yet, it's in the same price range of other brands with similar specs...

Like I keep telling them, Redmi, most esp 7a, 8a, note 7/8 is just another device, there is a reason, users are selling it like a failing stock.
phones of 2019 o, they all want to "upgrade", their reason for selling.
