Poverty capital of the south.

I now know the reason why everyone is running away from Ala-Igbo daily. They are escaping poverty coz they have seen it with their korokoro eyes.

Ebonyi and Borno state are both romancing together which correlated with the report from NBS that Ebonyi is the poorest state in the south.

Do you know that the IGR figures are reported by the respective state government? Before you scream fake, try to understand how NBS report their IGR statistics!

This shouldn't come as a surprise, the SE is unproductive, no meaningful business or industrial activities, the young and the educated population don't stay, they port to other regions for survival and a better way of life leaving towns and villages without productive and educated manpower to grow and develop the SE, sadly, this has been going for decades so the SE never had a chance from the get-go.

If your wealth, your educated and productive manpower are not at home to make your home productive and generate wealth, you simply have no future.

Lagos was never part of western region.

If you look at the old regions, you will see that the old eastern region components faired better as predicted, '' the fastest growing economy".

What the whole old western region(mid Western inclusive) gathered is just 250 billion naira which is below that of old eastern region and if you remove mid eastern region , the revenue of old eastern region revenue is twice that of western region.

In essence, OLD WESTERN REGION excluding MID WESTERN is poor and this confirms why they are against BIAFRA. Post COVID-19 will reveal this as done in 2015.

Finally, it's better never imagined what old western region would become without proximity to Lagos.

ole thief very sneaky people. Lagos state was never part of the west cuz there was nothing called Lagos state then. Lagos then was mostly Lagos island. Places like ikeja, agege, epe, surulere, badagry and so many more were under western Region. Majority of that Lagos state revenue is western region revenue going by ur daft logic. And where is ur source that eastern region was the fastest growing. Also fastest growing doesn’t mean the best. By the way this is about modern south east not region cuz this is the true u without fake attachments to “SS”
