NJC as NASS both have full autonomy since a very long time ago, that's why saraki and dogara could deal with Buhari has they deem fit, and Justice Mary Odili had being showing APC hell

Although this is a good and laudable move,am very happy.it is long overdue but am not sure the president has the powers to do this. Am thinking that for the state legislature and judiciary to be financially autonomous,they must be a constitutional amendment or at least an act by the nass.I remember how on several occasions during constitutional amendment,state legislatures voted against their own autonomy and that of local government which means it is a constitutional matter.this is like saying that buhari can sign an order making lgas to be free from states which is clearly illegal.

Best decision Buhari made in the last one year (at least).

The emperors at the states (Governors) would, hopefully, start respecting (and allowing freedom for) state legislature and state judiciary, both of which they have, hitherto, pocketed and treated as slaves and errand boys!

I remember the year Fayose publicly and shamelessly approved Ekiti State annual budget by himself (wearing shorts), right inside the hallowed chambers of the Ekiti House of Assembly, without any single debate by the House of Assembly, and with the daft, subdued Speaker of the House laughing loudly like a demented cow!

This is good news. Elated!

Autonomy for people who wouldn't mind giving their concubines and girlfriends bogus contracts?
Restructure and see development in all parts of Nigeria.
Those who are against restructuring are rogues who think opportunities to steal will be blocked.
