I have a multimeter, but don't know how to use to check charge rate. Only seeing that of car battery online.

Okay multimeter is not helpful, you need a clamp meter to get actual reading. I googled the model, it seem it's 10A charging hence it should take about 9 to 10hrs to charge from low to full. What's the battery voltage when it's low and without load?(you can use your multimeter for that)

Good day all. Please I have two 200Ah Luminous batteries that get's full within 5 hrs after full discharge. I want to know if this is normal.

PS: I dont know the configuration of the Inverter system as it was built by a company.

DOES NOT sound normal.unless your inverter is outputting over 30amps, no way would totally flat batts get full in 5hrs..
But first off, how do u know its discharged?...the inverter low batt alarm activates or inverter shutsdown?

I suspect you may have a bad batt in the mix.
With a digital meter, chk the voltage of each battery when discharged and when full .

The batteries individually read 10. But when I read jointly it shows 23. Is this fine?

Reading was done when not charging and no load.

The inverter low battery alarm activated. I will revert on it's reading when fully charged. Thanks.

That's strange where did the 3v come from? In any case your battery at less than 24v is already below 50% DoD hence it's either your battery is already going bad or your charger is not 10A as I earlier stated. How long have you been using the battery? You really need to figure out where the 3v difference comes from

Pls based on experience, 200ah deep cycle battery of the same brand block or slim which one serves better and longer?

10volts ke? Are u sure that battery is not gone. For 12v battery to drop to 10v is not good for the battery at all.

Good evening everyone,

Please I am expecting our expert virus on the below.

Hello everyone,

Is Mercury inverter and batteries a good buy?

Close to 7 months now. Do I need to detach the battery connectors before reading?

I'm still under warranty with Simba, guess I can change them if bad.

You mean they're meant to show 12V individually even when used for some hours?

No need to detach, what's the battery voltage when it gets full and without load for some hours? If you have warranty then you can also take these questions to them for support or possible replacement

Just remeasured now, one battery reads 10 and another 9, and it reads 21 jointly. Hope my multimeter is not faulty? But the voltmeter installed on the wall reads 23.1 (see pix).

PS: The Battery depleted due to lack of power supply yesterday.

they are suppose 2 show d same. If a battery drops to 10v and d other pair is 13v then there's a huge problem.

When it was depleted. The Volt meter is reading 24 now after leavibg for a while.

But the batteries are reading 10V each and 22V jointly.

I'm thinking my multimeter is malfunctioning by reducing 2V from each battery but add 2V instead of 4V when I measure jointly

ACQUIRE/BORROW ANOTHER MULTIMETER, SO WE CAN BE SURE WHAT EXACTLY IS going on.

I need to know the voltage when full without load and after resting for a few hours

I will do just that.

But I also tested 3 car batteries, and they read 10V instead of 12V.

The batteries are working fine.

The voltage when full is 27.4. It still has light supplied into it.

Observed that my multimeter is faulty (it reduces value by 2). I used another multimeter to get the new readings.

It will be good to know if the charging gets up to 28.4 or more. Basically let us know the following:

1. While it's charging what's the highest voltage it attained before dropping?

2. When the voltage drops, what's the voltage it drops to while still connected to power.

3. What's the voltage it drops to without power and without load

Hello
good evening all
Can i use this 6v fan (https://www./rechargeable-16-wall-fan-with-remote-control-andrakk-mpg1192241.html) with my 12v 1kva inverter?

i read it accepts AC and DC. The connection i have currently is DC

Also, can i use a 70watts fridge on my 1kva inverter if i get 3 (150w solar panels) connected to it?
what if i chose to use the fridge on it only during the day when there is sunlight? will it affect my 200ah battery?

get a blue inec battery, its designed for laptops and can last straight 24hrs with a laptop when fully charged. The full package costs just 35k which includes the battery, its charger and a DC distributor which powers your laptop from the battery. Get it and thank me later.

Please, I need charger for this inec type of battery, where can I get it?

please guys I'm planning on getting a good inverter and maybe a solar panel, I don't know how it works, and I'd like your suggestions please
Will I get the solar panel and the inverter together??
how much would it cost? things I'm planning to power are just my phone, laptop, tv and a fan
I don't also want something too expensive
