The gap between even the 3rd highest generating and the least generating state is too much (I didnt even use Lagos and Rivers for obvious reasons) They need to start thinking of ways to generate revenue, even if it's with partnership with other states. Are there no industries that can thrive and they concentrate on it? Na wah o |

caleboxylic: Ignorant nonsense Lagos state is made of of 5 historical divisions 1. LAGOS 2. IKEJA 3. EPE 4 IKORODU 5. BADAGRY ONLY LAGOS ,number 1 above, was the FCT under a Minister until Lagos state was created in 1967 The other 4 were ALL PART of the WESTERN REGION Ikeja was governed from Ibadan Mushin ,Oshodi ,Isolo were in the Western region LAGOS STATE after creation WAS NEVER THE FCT That is a common mistake ignorant folk make Just a small part of Lagos state was the Federal capital. Several states in Nigeria are named after towns or cities Kano Enugu Oyo Ondo Kaduna Sokoto Bauchi Kebbi 80% of Lagos was Western Region Anyway the regions were dissolved and we happily let the Midwest go. Why are you desperate in clinging on to Ikwerre Ijaw and Ibibio land 7 Likes 1 Share |

omonnakoda: You don't know Igbo ..we dominate..the Igbo fought and comonised the owners of the land and chased the away and established Arochukwu the Igbo takes no prisoners they colonise . The king of Aro k own as Eze Aro name is Ogbonnaya Okoro...we chased the indegnous tribes in around that were Ibibio out and enslaved the rest and established the state of Aro known as Arochukwu or Okigbo (Great Igbo ) that is Igbo for you https://www.nairaland.com/995168/history-aro-confederacy The Igala in Anambra, we also ensure they speak if I and have Igbo king is Igwe John Ogugua... As you can see they (Igbo) ain't got no chills...they are even having Eze Igbo in Fesac etc.... That is Igbo man for you...instead of you taking land from Igbo man, the Igbo man would take land from you.... How can Yoruba allow Offa, Ilorin to be lost ! Ilorin is an Emirates and you guys don't have the balls to fight that war ...give it up Even the tiny Yoruba that is in Igbo speaking part of Delta (Anioma) we made sure we igbonize them...we made the king use Igbo title obi Today he is Obi of Ugbodu. The present Obi is H.R.M. Oloza Ayo Isinyemeze. Olukumi villages select leaders through the Okpala Obi system So we Igbo we accept strangers to be part of us ! |

AmuDimpka:Akuma Nnubi Akamkpa Ezearo 1 Ibini Ukpabi Ibom deity also called Long Juju Ekpe society from Ibom Arochukwu was conquered and colonised just like Fulani in Hausa land Thereafter they raided the length and breadth of Eboe land for slaves AND sold millions of them Claiming they were Eboe is quite funny Aros treated Eboe land like a poultry or farm for slaves What happened to Eboe Enwe Eze? Eboes have no kings It is true Anywhere you find kings like Aro .Nri,Onitsha or Oguta they were conquerors 3 Likes |
